Outstanding place to get your hair done. I always go for a complete bald shave, and they do not disappoint. All the barbers here are excellent in their services. They're professional, warmhearted, and funny and engaging in their conversations, and that includes some of the patrons. Also, at least for the work done on my head, they're extremely generous with the pricing. The shop itself is small and cozy, and the familiar faces you see all the time shows that it has this community come-together feel to it--and, of course, the loyalty of the customers who keep coming back. I'd strongly recommend getting your hair done here. Just two things: as of this review, the shop is cash only, so make sure you've got bills on you (including any tips), and second, make sure you call ahead of time for an appointment, especially if you need a lot of work done. Simply put, I will be returning here in the near future, and I hope this business lasts forever!

I like getting my hair cut here. Troy is a great person and professional barber. The atmosphere is as authentic as it gets as well. If you want to get your hair cut quickly and professionally that's the place to go to.

I might be biased as one of the barbers here, but I’m also a client — and proud to be part of what makes Troy Anthony’s special. It’s more than just clean fades and lineups — it’s the vibe, the consistency, and the care behind the chair. I’m just here adding to the legacy, one cut at a time. 💈 Walk-ins are always welcome, but if you're short on time, booking ahead is the best move. It doesn’t cost anything extra — same price, just peace of mind. Depending on the day, we may be a few minutes ahead or behind based on the cut before you, but we always make sure you’re taken care of. You might not get the perfect cut the very first time — especially if we’re still learning your texture or preferences — but you’ll always leave clean. The more you come in and build with your barber, the better each cut gets. And if you want to try different barbers here to feel out the vibe, you’re welcome to — we all bring something real to the chair. Some days I might be quiet — not distant, just thinking. I’m always trying to work through something in my head. But when I’m cutting hair, I’m locked in like a horse with blinders on. And if I forget your name, it’s never on purpose. I was hit by a car as a kid — and between that and being a dad who sometimes forgets his own kids’ names 😂 — I try my best. Booking through my phone definitely helps it all stick. 💵 Some detailed styles or special requests don’t cost more — but they do take more time. Fantastic barber shop. Barbers are all great and very friendly. Kids are welcome. There is a bathroom for those waiting and there is plenty of parking. Next to a 7-Eleven, McDonaldS, Dunkin Donuts and a gas station. A center across the street with businesses. Ive only gone to the coffee shop, the pizza joint and the nail salon.

I’ve been getting cut at Troy’s for some time now. It’s always a great experience. They are all talented barbers and they have all cut my hair. I have never left there disappointed. I have been to every barber shop in Woburn, Troy gives the best cuts around, by far. I recommend Troy Anthony’s 100%.

Thank you to my barber Winter. I was hesitant about going to a barbershop as a woman for a tidy-up. Winter took care of me from the time I walked in. He was friendly, comforting and funny. I was at ease. My line up looks good and i am pleased. This will be my spot whenever im in town

My husband has the kind of very straight hair that can be really hard to work with. His cowlicks add to the challenge. He struggled for years to find a good barber and haircuts often shook his confidence in his appearance. During the pandemic, I cut his hair a couple of times and learned a few tricks that worked, but I'm no barber. It was far from perfect. When it was time to go to a barber again, my husband found Troy. I wasn't sure how this person I'd never met was going to respond to a wife coming and telling him things about how to cut her husband's hair, but I was pleasantly surprised by how open Troy was to me doing that. I gave all of my tips at the beginning and then left, though Troy kindly welcomed me to stick around. Not only was he receptive, he listened. He gave my husband an excellent haircut. He's been giving him excellent haircuts for the 3 years since then. Never needed a reminder of any of those tips. Always makes him look so polished. Remembers the length my husband likes it to be. Gets every detail so perfect. My husband comes home so confident in his appearance, which makes me very happy. He'll go to Troy as long as Troy cuts hair.

The atmosphere is awesome. You can feel at home while waiting for your cut, if you choose to walk in. You can also make appointments if you want to skip the line, which is always great. The barber's are like none other. You can go to any baber in the shop and get one of the best cuts around. I've been going there for maybe a year, maybe a little more, and I have not been disappointed with a single cut. If you know what you want Troy Anthony's will cut it to perfection!
