Went to his brother for 20 years, to him now for 5. Great guy, great haircut, family tradition. Just regular haircuts. Shop is in a new building now, not on Broadway.

If you want a haircut, this is the place to go! Old school barbershop. Ottavio will cut your hair they way you want it. He is also great to talk to with a wonderful sense of humor. No reservation, cash only.

I absolutely love coming to get a haircut from Ottavio’s. I have been coming to him since forever ago. Ottavio is an all around funny and genuine guy. He is old school and gives me my money’s worth in each haircut. Ottavio is a one of a kind guy in a competitive and modern business in a pretty modern-driven area and couldn’t imagine going anywhere else.

Ottavio is an excellent barber and the best deal in town. You can park in the lot next to the shop. Ottavio is a real Southie treasure. Grateful to have him still here in his attractive new digs. Be prepared to laugh at the “best stand up in Southie”.

Outstanding old school style barber shop with a fantastic & genuinely honest owner with a biting sense of humor and a great sense for people. Multilingual and cultural man with excellent taste in football clubs and someone I will be coming back to frequently once I move back here permanently. He’s a master of his craft, rescued a semi-balding guy like me from a dreadful hair situation from another barber just before a major meeting and presentation.

Very friendly and extremely professional barber: broad range of knowledge, witty and fun to chat with, and he did a really expert job; I experienced a master craftsman at work. $30 was a fair price given his attention to detail. Highly recommend.
