I’m new to Boston, and this was my second haircut in the city. My first was at a different salon, but I wasn’t happy with it—the price was high, and the quality of the cut didn’t match the cost. My boyfriend, who is very picky about his haircuts, recommended Studio M, and I’m so glad I took his advice. Michelle really listened to what I wanted and even asked if I wanted my hair washed. Since my hair was already clean and straightened, I didn’t need it, and I appreciated that she checked—especially because it would have been an extra $20-25. I love that she was upfront about it instead of adding unnecessary services just to increase the bill. Not only was she honest, but she also gave me a great haircut. That kind of service earns loyalty, and I’ll definitely be coming back. Highly recommend this spot!

Hands down one of the best shops around. M&G always up to date on newest colors & styles. Also great on finding a way to make the greys stay away a few week's. Professional, on time & friendly comfortable environment! !

I love this place. Super welcoming and great haircuts. I’ve been coming to Michelle pretty consistently for the last ten years or so. She can usually fit me in with just a few days notice but I would try calling day of if you need it. You can park in the lot across the street too.

"Five stars! Thanks to Studio M, my hair is finally growing back after five years of no growth. Super nice, chill, friendly. Gina cut my hair and did a great job. I always feel anxious about hair salons, worried they'll be snobby. This place is not snobby! I loved it and it'll be my new go-to salon.

Michelle has been doing all the females in my hair , well before she got her our salon. My hair ALWAYS looks amazing and time flys by because Michelle has such a great personality and so ridiculously funny. Love u, Studio M. And I absolutely Michelle and I haven't let anyone else touch my hair in about 15yrs. Michelle is really professional but also, one of my favorite and funniest character ever. If you don't go see Michelle, ur actually losing out.her prices are so reasonable. Ok, I'll leave it that .sorry I keep gushing about you Michelle but no one should miss this experience , even if it's just to try. Whew, I believe I've found a great new home for my haircuts! I have super-fine straight hair, and had been working with the same haircutter for 12 years until she moved away from Boston. Then my search for a new, reasonably priced haircut began. After a few misses, I've now had two excellent cuts at Studio M with Gina P. The first one grew out beautifully, so I came right back for a second cut. I am delighted with both her work and the salon, and love being able to book my appts on their website. The cost is a little higher than with my previous person, but it shows how sheltered I'd been by my great haircutter for all those years.

Super friendly, unpretentious, yet very talented stylists here. Parking is easy and prices are very reasonable. Took my daughter here on a whim to get her insanely long, knotted hair under control and she is thrilled with her new haircut.
