Great place for a haircut. A few days before my wedding day, I went for a haircut at another barbershop - they didn't do a good job to say the least. I walked into Foster's, without a reservation, and the owner welcomed me in for a quick touch up - it did the trick. I went back for another haircut and it was high quality. I will go back for my next haircut and many more!

Mohammed is the best. Friendly guy, always gives a fresh cut and an honest opinion. Clean fades, knows exactly what to do with my hair. The price point is solid too. He’s the only barber I go to now.

I've had my hair cut here by both Bob and Mohammed at least 4 times and they are both very good, doing steady and careful work with both a reasonable price and time spent. I typically get a fade and they have always been 100% accurate with both shaving and trimming, never taking too much off. Would recommend for any men's cuts and shaves as that's what work of theirs I am familiar with.

Very thorough barber. Bob (the owner) takes punctual appointments and takes his time to give you the exact haircut you want. It’s expensive, but you get what you pay for. Been here countless times and never had a bad experience.

Mohammed is one of the best barbers I have ever had. One of the friendliest and most detail oriented people I’ve gotten a cut from. Would recommend this establishment to anybody. Bonus that they are open on Sunday !

Saturday AM and this jack pine savage from the hills of Michigan needed to be presentable for a family wedding.(not my own thank God) I walked in and was able to get a cut within the next few hours. The barber n' me looked at each other and came to common cause. He cleaned me up and made me look civilized. ( which I ain't, but ya gotta try) I would recommend this establishment to anyone needing a good cut.

I've been to Foster's for every haircut since my first time, a few months after they opened. Phil and Bob both give a fantastic haircut every time, and they're fun to chat with while they're doing it. They genuinely care about making you happy and doing a great job. They keep the shop clean and neat so it's a nice place to hang out, even if you have a bit of a wait. On top of all of this, Foster's has the best prices of any place I've been around Davis, so you're also getting a great deal. I really won't go anywhere else for my haircuts, and neither should you.

I've been here twice so far and will definitely be coming back again and again. I used to go to a more expensive barber on highland Ave but these guys went through barber school with those guys, give just as good cuts, and charge 2/3 the price. Phil did a great job, remembered me and my cut. He's a good dude and strikes a good balance between good conversation and not talking too much. Go here if you are nearby.

Been seeing Phil for a long time now, I've never once regretted a cut. Prices are cheaper than anywhere else in the area, but they could honestly be higher and I'd still get my hair cut at Foster's because of both Phil's quality and the relaxed shop environment. Getting my hair cut always feels like just a meetup with old friends.

I rarely rate a place of business I visit, which should say something about this place. I wish I could give this place 10 stars to be honest. Bob is a phenomenal barber! Coming from Texas, where it costs $35 for a proper haircut, Bob's haircuts are a steal. He has a prime spot right next to the T station, and it was easy to find. The only thing that I guess anyone could complain about is the wait - however it is only because he does a spectacular job taking his time with each haircut. Out of the barbers I have been to in the area, he is the best!
