I'm a guy with a bit longer hair and I wouldn't recommend others with similar length hair to go here. There is a significant language barrier (unless you speak Portuguese), and he cut more off the sides with the razor than I wanted despite both telling him and showing him how much hair I wanted cut off. I think the haircut ended up looking ok, just not exactly what I was going for.

I went there today. The owner took one look at me and refused service. They don’t accept all races so be careful. What a disappointment

Good morning friend, I didn't refuse to serve you. If you had waited, I would have served you. I had a client with a reservation who was due in 10 minutes, and I had to serve him. Priority is given to those with reservations. We also serve walk-ins, but they have to wait.

Did not follow the directions or photos I provided at all, took off twice the length, completely rushed, haircut felt lazy. Will not be coming back here again.

My boyfriend asked for a haircut and got a COMPLETELY different one. He specifically said to not cut too much hair and showed the female stylist a picture. She didn’t follow instructions and cut almost his ENTIRE hair off with buzzers when it was clearly a scissors cut. He paid for the cut but is clearly upset. Do not recommend.

Needed a new barber. I booked this place the day of as I saw positive reviews, and good pictures. Antonio was great, and put effort behind the haircut. $35 + tip is a great deal too. I will be coming back.

This is the BEST barber shop you will find in Cambridge! I have been coming here for over a year and I have never been disappointed. Antonio is so careful, so thoughtful about every single detail - it’s simply so rare to find this type of service. They both take their time and always make sure you leave happy. Honestly, I cannot recommend them enough.

We take my 2 year old to get his haircut here. They always make him feel safe and comfortable. He loves sitting in the chair with a steering wheel. And every haircut turns out great!

LOVE this salon! I was desperate for a haircut before I go on vacation and stumbled upon Family Salon. I am SO GLAD I did!! Maria was wonderful to work with. She took her time and showed care and love with her hair ART! I will absolutely be back again!
