Yo my boy Sahdaat is the absolute best with the clippers and scissors. Been with him id say 3-4 years now! Always flexible and never says no to anything i bring him, i change my hair a lot color,style, ect. His communication is 10/10 to always make sure you get what YOU want. Always with a smile and always mindful of the customer, if you want it done right leaving you feeling good this is your guy.

Took my 7 yo son here for the first time and it's THE best haircut that he's ever received at a barber shop!! I'm so glad we finally a barber close to home that we both loved! Thank you so much Tony! You will definitely be seeing us again soon 😊

Eddie is the man! I’ve been to a lot of barbers over the years, but nobody comes close to the consistency and attention to detail Eddie brings to every cut. He always takes the time to get it just right, checks in throughout, and somehow remembers exactly how I like it even months later. The shop itself has a great local vibe, clean, comfortable, and welcoming, but it’s Eddie’s professionalism and skill that make me keep coming back. Whether it’s a quick cleanup or a full restyle, he nails it every time. Highly recommend Eddie at Dente’s if you’re looking for a reliable, high-quality barber in Somerville. You’ll walk out feeling fresh every time.

Gotta say, I’m usually not the type of guy to switch barbers but I definitely needed to switch things up. Came across this shop couple days back and I wish I found it sooner. Customer service 10/10 hands down and the cuts just the same. Not sure if I’m spelling his name right but Sahdaat listened to exactly what I wanted and delivered hands down. No doubt, I’ll be coming back.

I have been to this place a couple times past with ok results. This time I came in with medium length hair. The guy gives me an asymmetrical hair cut that is completely flat. I comment ways to improve and he goes “we specialize in short hair here, look around”. Rude and unprofessional, don’t come here if you have long hair or medium length hair or hair longer than quarter inch apparently. Guy was named Kemet.

Kemet cuts my hair - best haircuts I have EVER had. He’s really thorough and careful, and I appreciate that he takes the time to make my hair look good. He’a a nice guy, easy to talk to, and does a great job. I never leave reviews, if that’s any indication of the quality of the cut and experience that warranted this review.

Really poor experience at this barbershop with Kemet. He was rude and unprofessional. He complained about what I asked for, telling me the haircut I’ve been getting for years wasn’t what it was and that I needed to know the exact numbers for him to cut my hair. I even showed him a picture of the exact haircut I had gotten before that I liked! At the end when I asked him if they had an ATM, he insisted the website said cash only and that I should assume they do. I asked a simple question and got a condescending answer. Would not recommend at all. Go somewhere else!

Very disappointed with my recent experience at Dente's Barber Shop. I've been a regular customer for several years, but what happened with the barber Kemet was completely unacceptable. He was rude and aggressive from the start. He put me in the chair like everything was normal, then suddenly changed his mind and said he couldn't do my haircut — with no explanation. He was mean !!! I don’t know what was going on with him, but it was extremely unprofessional. I really hope the owner steps in and reminds employees to treat loyal customers with respect and basic decency. This kind of behavior is not okay.
