This place gave me the absolute worst haircut and beard trim I have ever had. I sat down and started to explain to the barber what I wanted (nothing complicated, I was explaining that I wanted my hair parted and where) and he interrupted me mid-sentence and told me to say what number clipper length I wanted for the top and the sides. I should have gone with my gut here and walked out but decided to just go with it. The barber had an attitude the entire time. Even though I didn't say anything and we weren't talking the entire time, every couple minutes he would stop the haircut and go "okay?" in a really annoyed tone of voice like he was mad at me. In the end the haircut was really obviously terrible and the beard was extremely uneven and I had to fix it at home. My advice for the people working here: If you want your customers to just say numbers to you, you should be a cashier at McDonalds and not a barber. If all you know how to use is clippers, you should go back to school and learn how to do your job. Don't interrupt customers while they're speaking, even if you don't know how to do the very simple thing that they're asking for. I won't be coming back, and anyone thinking about it should avoid this place.

Unfortunately unfriendly to new customer with no greeting nor significant verbal communication. Was unable to comprehend male scissor-cut hairstyle, which made a conversation and finally haircut impossible.

Great place with talented staff. I always leave there with a fantastic haircut. This is my place for a fast, smooth, and top notch alterations to any hair care needs. Worth more than they charge.

I’ve been to this barbershop four times, three of those experiences left me with terrible haircuts. The older black woman who works there is incredible, everyone else is pretty bad. Let me clarify, if you are an old white man with extremely simple haircut needs, this place is probably amazing. And the reason for two stars. Anyone else with any kind of interesting hair requests: curly hair, long hair, or any form of interesting haircut should avoid it as this is very much a traditional, no nonsense or care kind of place.

I always enjoy getting my hair done here and usually I request TJ because he does all kinds of hair men & women's. He's a barber and a stylist and he is one of the best stylists I've ever encountered! Thank you! And I appreciate Gaetano who is a barber and is usually always working, he is a hard worker; cutting hair, answering phones, etc. Thank you both for a wonderful experience always! 💈

I recently had an unfortunate experience at this barbershop, which may have been one of the worst haircuts I’ve ever received. From the moment I arrived until the service was completed, it was clear that minimal effort was put into ensuring I had a satisfactory experience. Despite requesting a beard lineup and a full shave, neither was done. The barbershop advertises hot towel shaves online, yet I did not receive this service either. For these subpar efforts, I was charged $27. Given the location of the shop in a diverse neighborhood, I expected the services to cater to all ethnicities, not just those of the staff. I hope that the establishment grows to be more inclusive and attentive to all potential clients moving forward. Lastly, I ended up at barber shop next door and paid an extra $35.00 (40 with tip) for the proper haircut. Best, Passionate Boston native and neighbor.

Amazing barbor shop! Went for a stroll with my 1 year old boy. I popped in to see if they can cut his hair and they were more than happy too! His hair was getting out of control! Needless to say we're happy with the new cut and baby is extra handsome now! Thank you Guy for your service! ✌️♥️

This barber shop has been around for so long that generations keep coming back not only for the memories but for the good service. My son has long hair so TJ is cutting his hair now and my father is coming back to Guy for his. The place is clean and quiet, they play good music in low volume, they also have a clean bathroom.
