Simply THE BEST! Loyal customer for over 15 years! Moved to Florida & wish I never did! That’s how much I loved going for cut every 2 weeks & hanging with Dan & Joe! Go once and you’ll be hooked!!

I wouldn't get my hair cut anywhere but The Neighborhood Barbershop. I've been coming here for the last 15 years and have never considered going anywhere else. Both of my boys have had their unruly hair cut here for their entire lives. It's always great to walk in and see Dan and Joe!

This was the best experience that I have found so far in Massachusetts or Rhode Island. Had a great haircut here and Dan was simply wonderful. Dan is now my go-to barber.

Dan has been cutting my hair since he started as a barber. He has always done fantastic work and is very pleasant to have a conversation with. I've felt like I have known him forever, very relaxed. Besides my hair and if I need a little beard trim, he does a great job on my eyebrows so I don't look like Eugene Levy. This is the only barbershop that I will go to. I feel like family walking through the door. Highly recommend for all ages. Joe does a great job too!

Owner is rude! Thank you for your response Dan , but you are not correct when you say we were never in your shop - My boss was there on time for his 7:15 AM EST appointment that I booked and you decided to take someone else during his appointment time frame saying he was an hour early. And when he called later in the day to attempt to share the details below you refused to even review the situation blaming Setmore - your scheduling software for your error - rude! 1) Your message when the appointment was booked - “ Your appointment has been booked with The Neighborhood Barbershop. The name of the review did not match the appointment. I now know who you are. I tried to explain the Tom that the appointment may have been made in a different time zone or the device that the appointment was made on was set to a different time zone. We don't have a 7:15 AM appointment time slot. The 1st appointment of the day is 7am while the next appointment slot is 7:25 am. We had him booked for 8:15 am on our end. We did not take somebody in his time slot. We took the person in the 7am time slot. I also tried to help Tom rebook while I was on the phone with him when he called asking if the 8:15 am time slot was still available.

I walked into this barbershop and waited for about 15 minutes while the barbers were finishing up with previous clients. While I waited, magazines and video games were available for entertainment, and music was playing in the background. Kiba eventually called for me to sit in his chair, and I’m glad I did! His attention to detail was probably what set him apart from other barbers. He was engaging, funny, and thorough. I got a wicked good haircut, neck shave, beard trim, and lineup for a really great price. Definitely worth the trip, and I will be coming back! Kiba only takes walk-ins, so I won’t be making an appointment. :)

I've been getting my hair cut by Dan for over 20 years and it's always perfect. Great service and chit chat with both Dan and Joe while I'm there. Love this place!

I've been going to Dan and Joe long before they worked here and have always had the best experience I could ask for.i recently started bringing my young boy here and he was scared of going but Dan was great with him and he hopped right up in the chair the second time I brought him so that means a lot to me. If my kid could leave a review it would also be 5 stars.
