This place is great. It's your standard barber shop made kid friendly. My boys are nervous about haircuts, but they can play with a collection of toys while they wait, and the staff are all very good with their young antics in the chair. It doesn't appear as kid centric as snip-its, but they are just as nice. AND the haircuts actually end up looking good... which wasn't happening at the other place.

I’d give this place 10 stars if I could! My son has autism and getting his haircut is tricky. Mackie was amazing with him and gave him a great haircut too! Thank you for your kindness and great service Mackie.

I had an awesome experience at Mackies today. I brought my 1.5 year old son for a haircut. As soon as I walked in I was acknowledged, told how many people ahead of me, and given a warm welcome. The entire staff was so patient and kind with my 1 year old. From offering him snacks to lending a cell phone for entertainment, they went above and beyond to make sure it was a good experience. Id highly recommend them to anyone! Will absolutely be back. Thank you!!!!

These guys are awesome. All the family boys go there (4, 6 and 37 years old). Absolutely nice staff, super kids friendly with candies and super involved business in the local community (my son got a dollar while wearing his 'I'm going to kindergarten T-shirt) and they also sponsor teams with Milton Little League Baseball.

I would like to thank google for the nice suggestion of Mackie's. Everything was a great, efficient & yet friendly staff, clean shop. It only took us 10 min to finish my son's haircut. Renée is the best 👍🏻

Ashley is the ONLY PERSON my 4 year old son will let cut his hair. It used to be a tearful battle to get it done, somehow Ashley has done what no one before her could. She got my son into a chair AND cut his hair with NO fuss. Before he and I would both end up in tears. Now it's "Ashley made me handsome" and "I'm gong to see my friend Ashley and play with toys" if 10 stars was an option I'd give them 10. It's always a good day when we go to Mackie's. The lack of struggle with my son and welcoming employees really make it a great experience. Thanks Mackies!! Thank you Ashley!!!!

Took my son there for his 1st haircut and was very happy. They had a toy box full of trucks and they put Paw Patrol on for him. He was very happy! Mama was also happy because he got a great haircut at a fair price. I'm not sure if I remember his name correctly but Mark was his barber and he was awesome.
