Haven’t found a great barbershop like this in years. No fake small talk, no steaming towel massage weirdness, no BS, just a well priced, high quality, very quick haircut. Old fashioned and classic.

Absolutely love Sal’s. I’ve tried other spots around JP since moving here and always have come back here for the best haircut. Efficient, thoughtful, and professional welcoming. Best haircuts and can’t beat the price. I look forward to my cuts with Akhil, but all of the folks in there are great.

Went to Sal's due to the high amount of 5 star reviews. Was always scared of trying new barbers but Sal's was really good. The barbers really care about the small details. Definitely will go back.

I moved to JP in 2017 and have been getting my hair cut at Sal’s ever since. I wouldn’t think about going anywhere else as Sal, Akil and the rest of the barbers have always done a great job and made both me and my kids always feel right at home. My boy Charlie will not let anyone but Sal cut his hair! Great local barbershop with great company.

I went into Sal's on a whim, needed a haircut before leaving for a trip. You can tell these guys really care about what they do, treating every customer like family. I walked in 20 minutes before close hoping they could squeeze me in, and Hal had me in the chair in 5 minutes for one of the best haircuts I've ever received. Not only was the haircut phenomenal, with crisp lines and fantastic blending, but the environment was fun and welcoming. Very reasonably priced and great conversation. The staff also patiently called cab companies for the older gentleman next to me after giving him a cut, trying two or three different places until they could get him a ride. Would highly recommend to anyone in the area looking for a cut!

We have so much appreciation for the staff at Sal’s after our first visit there this morning. My husband got an incredible cut from Ramos and Hal worked magic with my crying 22 month old. Hal delivered an amazing cut despite the challenges my son created for him! It was his first official haircut and my husband’s first hair cut in Boston. We will definitely be back. Thank you guys!!

Great local JP barbershop! Love this place. Every barber gives a great cut. Come for the conversation and cut and you won’t be disappointed. I usually get a fade for my son and myself and they always do a great job.
