We’ve been going to BBB since the day they opened, and we’re always so impressed with the service and the quality of the cuts. It’s truly my son’s favorite time of the month—he loves getting his haircut here! The new location is absolutely beautiful, and Ryan does an amazing job. You can tell how much he cares about every client and the product that walks out his door. There’s no place I trust more for my son and husband! Highly recommend!

Love everyone at the Black Bear barber! This is the only place my sons will go… My 10-year-old will only let Alex cut his shaggy long hair and somehow every barber we’ve seen has done a great job compromising the mop top look my 13-year-old is looking for with something somewhat clean looking that I prefer 🤣 if you have picky sons you should definitely check them out!

Have been going to BlackBear for a few years now. All staff has been very helpful, great atmosphere and always a great cut. I personally have been a client of Ryan for years. He goes out of his way to accommodate my crazy schedule or help me get in with one of his many talented barbers if he is not available. The only negative is the wait can get lengthy but that to me speaks volumes about the business. People obviously are happy with their cuts. I would highly recommend this place to anyone!

Been going to black bear for nearly 4 years now and it’s the only barbershop I consider when it’s time for a cut. Everyone is extremely professional and talented. Ryan has been my go to barber for the majority of the 4 years and I am always blown away with his work. Would recommend this shop to anyone thinking about a haircut for the holidays!

I’ve had cuts and shaves from multiple barbers over the years and every single one has delivered top-tier service and attention to detail. We LOVE Blackbear—truly the best of the best! The staff is phenomenal, and the whole shop has such an amazing, welcoming vibe. My son has been going there for many years, and we can’t imagine trusting anyone else with his cuts. The team is always incredibly kind and always finds a way to fit us in, even when we try to schedule a last-minute cut. Their dedication and energy are unmatched and it shows. Ryan has been cutting my hair since I moved to the North Shore 6 years ago. He’s been nothing but spectacular and we’ve formed an amazing bond over the years. He does great work at an amazing price point and even offers discounts for our service men and women. Ryan has amazing staff that I can always go to if Ryan isn’t available. Alex, Manny, Hailey and the rest of the team offer great cuts as well. His new shop is awesome and the fact that he was able to keep the same feel from the old shop is truly amazing. If you live near or far, Blackbear barbershop should be the only place you’re getting your haircut.

I’ve been going to BlackBear barber shop for years now and I couldn’t recommend a better place to receive a haircut. Ryan ( the owner/ also Veteran ) is professional and delivers an excellent cut. The last year I have had the pleasure of being groomed by Haley. Works better for my schedule. She always delivers as well. Unbeatable hours of operation. I’ve heard nothing but great things for people of all ages. A local veteran owned business I will continue to support for many years to come.
