Julio is absolutely amazing. When I first looked into Temple of Groom Barber Lounge, the interior was so majestic and elegant that I almost felt intimidated walking in—it looked that fancy. But once inside, I realized the prices are very reasonable, especially for the level of skill and care you get. A haircut is only $60, and it is worth every dollar. Julio is a true artist in his profession. He pays attention to every detail and genuinely cares about his craft. Make Julio your barber—you will not regret it.

I’ve lived in Boston since 2021, and it’s taken me till now to find my barber. Ruben has cut my hair 3 times now, and he consistently gives me exactly what I’m looking for. He does a great job of communicating during the haircut, making me feel like I’m still in control and a part of the process. The establishment itself is beautiful and extremely clean. Will continue coming back as long as I live here!

Excellent service with Ruben today as usual, I have been a loyal customer for years across the Boston, Cambridge, and the new Brookline locations. Highly recommend Ruben, Art, and the rest of the team for a top quality haircut, any professional or other personalized style, well worth it. Also an honor to be one of the first customers to experience new Lamborghini-branded trimmer + hair clippers. Thank you Temple of Groom!

This barber shop delivers quality and consistency every time. The barbers are skilled, professional, and truly care about their clients. My haircut was precise, stylish, and exactly what I asked for. The shop is clean, the vibe is relaxed, and you can tell they know their craft inside and out. Highly recommend for anyone who values a sharp, modern look

I've been a regular at Temple of Groom - Cambridge since 2022 and have only experienced the highest level of quality. Everyone is great here, but Ruben has been my go to guy since the beginning. No one I would trust more for a haircut, 1 week out from my wedding. You will be in good hands!

Looking for a great local barber? Look no further because this is the spot. Been coming here for about a year now and every time I walk out happy with my cut and great conversations. Jason and Ruben do a fantastic job and really know their stuff so I’d highly recommend booking a seat with them if you pop in here.

Temple of Groom is awesome. First, the interior is great, and the barbers are great too. I typically ask for Ruben since he gave me my first cut there but I have dropped in and gotten cuts from multiple barbers there. All did an amazing job

Temple of Groom is the prime example of a First Class Barbershop experience. Phenomenal customer service, and you walk out looking like a million bucks. My Barber Ruben was incredibly patient and attentive. He listened to what I wanted and also offered great suggestions. I recommend 10/10!

My barber was Razor, (yes real name) and he was amazing! Not only did he give me a hair (buzz) cut, but he trimmed a few spots and did I feel handsome! That feeling lasts for days! It was my first time there and I WILL be back! Thanks for opening a salon on Beacon Street in Brookline! Very convenient!

I had a terrible experience at this barbershop with a barber named Jason W. From the start, things felt off. I asked for a mid skin fade and to slightly shorten the hair on the sides. Instead of getting started with the fade, Jason began dry brushing my curly hair, which not only damages curls but was also painful. When I asked if he could spray water to make it easier, he said “it makes it worse,” which was a huge red flag. Then he handed me the brush and asked if I could brush my own hair—because he clearly didn’t know how to deal with curls. That was just bizarre. The fade he gave me was nothing like what I asked for—in fact, it looked random and unblended. He then picked up scissors and pretended to cut the top, but did absolutely nothing meaningful. The whole haircut was rushed, done in just 10 minutes, and looked sloppy. I didn’t say anything at the time because, frankly, the guy looked out of it—possibly high. This was a huge disappointment, especially since my previous cut with Imad about a month ago was great—he was professional and skilled, and gave me exactly what I asked for. Jason W’s cut, on the other hand, was a complete waste of time and money. Definitely not worth $50. I won’t be returning to him
