The barber I go to see has consistently given me good advice on how to care for my hair, and delivers the best hair cuts I've gotten in a long time. I love the way my hair looks! It's a very accessible location, and the folks I talk to are always friendly and helpful. It's at the the point where if asked by friends, I'll recommend Floyd's, and Cherry in particular!

I typically ask for Josh when I visit. He is super skilled and makes you feel comfortable in the chair, then once he gets a feel for you, he is great at making the experience fun. That said, I've not had a bad stylists among their regulars, and the shop has very good availability if you're open to different stylists.

I’ve never had a bad experience. It’s a safe and welcoming environment for queer/trans people. They always listen for what I’m looking for and do a great job delivering. I love the hot lather neck shaved and almost always opt for a massage shampoo with a hot eucalyptus towel for the face. It always ends with an all too brief, but wonderful should massage. I’ll never not recommend this place. I love both locations local to me!

Shelley is a pure dote! They really cheered me up on a day where I felt really homesick. They also gave me a class haircut, love the texturing at the back and way it was cut at the front.

I went in for very long hair to pixie. Cherie created an incredible experience. They were able to interpret what I wanted and definitely executed. Incredible experience. I can't wait to come back for my trims!!! They're the best!

Cherry is amazing! 10/10 recommend. They listened to my description of what I wanted, looked at my inspiration pictures, and gave me a cut that exceeded my expectations. I’ll definitely be coming back! Hint for new clients: tip your stylist via Venmo so they don’t get taxed!

Got my haircut the other day and I couldn’t be more satisfied! Shelly was my hairdresser and really listened to what I was saying, I take a lot of care and put a lot of effort into my hair but decided it was time for a big chop (length was past my shoulders) and they took the time to cut little by little so I could see what was going on and I could tell them to stop at any point, they really listened and achieved the alternative hairstyle I was looking to get. I will be definitely be coming in for touch ups as it grows out!

Although I was vague about what I wanted, Fiona did an incredible job and gave me exactly what I was looking for. She was calm, patient, and a pleasure to talk to. It was definitely one of the best hair experiences I've had in a long time. I highly recommend her!

I have been getting my hair cut at Floyd's since 2017 and have never thought twice about coming back each time. The prices are very reasonable and all the staff are great. I especially recommend this shop for non-male identifying folks who get very short haircuts! My standard haircut has extremely short buzzed sides (000, the shortest it can get) and nearly every shop I've been to has had some dude who doubts my knowledge in this area, or outright refuses to give me that cut. I have never had a barber at Floyd's question me about it! Short wait times and a cool atmosphere are also pluses. Great talent, great service, and great vibes!
