Told him to only fade the sides he ended up cutting some hair from the back when I told him repeatedly to not cut the back

Awesome group of caring guys, who legitimnatly want to make you look your best. each will do "your cut" a little bit differently, but each barber has their own flair, and I always walk out looking and feeling fresh. If you want a place to get to learn your hair overtime, and learn how to cut it, how it grows, and lock in the style you have in mind, while also kindly giving you their two cents (based on your head shape, hair, etc) , then this is the place for you. I went here for 5 years, for some reason stopped, moved out of brighton, got my hair cut in JP, came back, and I can say the best three shops in the area are "classic barbershop", "Vasquez" (Watertown) and "josephs style (JP)" (I believe classic and Primos II on commonwealth may be owned by the same owner, really nice guy.

This was my 4th time going there to get a trim and taper and out of all the haircuts and fades i have gotten in my life this was the worst one i have gotten. They do not know how to cut hair making it un even on not leveled. I asked for a simple inch off the top and a taper on the sides and got my hair completely ruined. the taper is way to high and one side of my hair is long then the other. They took at-least 3 inches off everywhere. My guy took scissors and cut straight across my forehand. If you need your hair cut i would not recommend here.

Just want to share some information on my recent haircut this afternoon. I booked an appointment on “BOOKSY” with Edwardo Felix. It’s my second haircut that I have got from him, and I will tell you they were phenomenal haircuts. Edwardo is a very professional barber, detail oriented, and very good at what he does. A real nice guy. He asked me the type of haircut I wanted, and I told him (and he followed through with giving me an outstanding haircut). Keep up the good work. 😃😃

$25 for a regular haircut? That good! Found this to be a no-frills place and my go-to spot until I was turned away for being late! Arrived 10 mins late for my appointment while the associate decided to close shop early. I understand and respect the punctuality aspect, but wanting to close early and not accommodate a brief delay seems too convenient and excessive to me. Want customers to return?- you have to change your attitude!

These guys are artists with impeccable attention to detail. I go in for a head shave and beard trim/line up and am treated to the most luxurious experience at incredibly value. Seriously a full service shave, line up, scissors, hot towels, balms, etc for less than most places will charge to give me a once over with a trimmer. The barbers all talk to each other the whole time which is fine by me. Don't go here if you want small talk, do go here if you want to look great.

I've had a lot of bad experiences with hairdressers as a gender non-conforming lesbian. Many salons give me passive aggressive comments and Karen haircuts. Many barbershops don't make me feel welcome. These gentlemen, however, are warm, friendly, and professional, and I walk out looking incredibly fresh every single time. I have very thick, somewhat coarse hair (mixed white/asian, if that helps) and they're the only barbers I've ever gone to who actually have any idea how to tame it. Cannot recommend them highly enough. ETA: By the way, I'm leaving this review in the middle of the night because someone in my office yelled, "you have good hair!!" to me in the hallway today. 😂 Wanted to express my thanks to Classic Barber Shop.
