I want to update my review since I’ve got a great shampoo recommendation from Mike here at Z’s; it was Paul Mitchell Green Tea shampoo and it has left my hair feeling thicker and more manageable. Not only great cuts but great guidance too that makes the cuts look even better! Z-Barshop is a great neighborhood barbershop with a welcoming feel for its customers, Mike the barber is highly skilled with extra education in men’s styles from London. It’s a warm atmosphere that is also a place I like to bring my son who is six.

My son got his hair cut by one of the barbers here and WOW!!! He is so happy and feeling confident. He described the experience as "artistic mastery" Bravo!!! (I wish he could remember the name of the barber, but I'm sure they're all amazing there!)

Mike at Z’s Barber is hands down the best barber I’ve ever been to. You can tell right away that he’s trained in London, New York, and Paris because the guy knows his craft better than anyone. Every time I leave, my hair looks incredible—perfectly layered, clean, and natural in a way that just falls into place on its own. It doesn’t matter if you want something classic or modern, Mike somehow nails it every single time. But it’s not just the haircut. Mike is genuinely a great guy—easy to talk to, super professional, and you can tell he actually cares about how you look when you walk out the door. He takes his time to get every detail right and gives you the kind of haircut that looks good even weeks later, not just the day you get it. I’ve been to plenty of barbers before, but nobody compares to Mike. If you want a world-class haircut without the attitude, this is the place. I honestly can’t recommend him enough. Every time I come in I am impressed.

We’ve used Z’s for several years for my son. Every experience we have had has been great. The team is great with kids. They work quickly yet thoroughly, and they make every effort to keep kids calm and content. My son always leaves with a smile on his face (along with a balloon animal and lollipop). We strongly recommend Z’s for kids’ haircuts, and we will be going back for the foreseeable future.

I stumbled into Z Barbershop for a quick clean up and haven’t stopped coming. Mike is classically trained in London and it definitely shows. Haven’t had a haircut as good as this anywhere else. Would definitely recommend coming in and giving him a try, you won’t regret it.

We were visiting Boston on vacation and went out of our way to find this shop for back to school haircuts for our sons. Mike and Elias were fantastic! Both were so friendly and welcoming. My husband hadn’t even planned on getting a haircut, but their skill won him over, and he walked out with the best haircut he's ever had. Mike was telling us about his upcoming trip to Italy for a special razor course/certification. These guys are practicing a craft to be sure. They’re the real deal. Highly recommend!

Needed a change and decided to try out Z Barbershop. Mike was great from start to finish. He suggested a few changes from how I usually get my hair trimmed and he was right! I’ve definitely found my new look. Mike’s work was quick and professional, and he was so nice throughout. He was sociable and funny, and he even recommended a great spot for lunch. I’ll definitely be back.

MIKE IS THE MAN!! My friend got his hair trashed from a hair salon and walking in to this shop was the best decision we could’ve made. My friend and I were astonished at how great his hair looked after Mike was done with the cut. Later, Mike was explaining to us how he cuts and treats the layers of hair. You could tell he was really passionate about his craft. •11/10 experience •would definitely recommend to a friend in need of a great cut
