First visit since moving recently from Philadelphia. Matt made me feel right at home and gave me a great cut (as well as some restaurant recommendations). Loved the casual atmosphere. Customers all very friendly and cordial.

Ive been going about twice a year for a bit now, should be more but alas, and the service is great everytime. The haircuts are great and is certainly the best around.

Excellent haircuts and no nonsense. I wish they took cards, but I understand and respect why they don’t. If you’re not a talker, you don’t need to feel anxious to find topics. Matt will always find a way to connect. 🤘🏼

These guys are fantastic!! My hair is tricky and good barbers are so difficult for me to come by and Jake totally nailed it. Super accommodating and nice, but most importantly, they gave me the perfect cut. Will be seeing them again!!

The owner has no manners, he is a person who disrespects people and customers I went in to ask about the price, but as he saw me with Motora clothes or Uber workers. He thought I was someone else and he treated me as if I were indifferent, he has no professional ethics. Unfortunately the Spot is very beautiful, but he doesn’t have ethics and maybe it would have been more Neneii, if he knew that he was talking to another Barber, not with a person who doesn’t know about his work. I want to express my gratitude for having responded. What happened in your establishment is a matter that you, your employee, the customer who was being served and I know. It is not necessary to go into details, but if you felt offended, I apologize for what happened.

We treat all our customers with respect. I’m still not sure why you stopped in but I know it wasn’t for a haircut. Not only were you rude, but you were aggressive. I won’t be condescended to in my own business. Take your one star and get back on your moped. Oh, and next time you attempt a sales pitch try removing your helmet.

Best barber in Boston hands down! Matt gave me a short cut before I began chemotherapy a couple years ago and I won’t go anywhere else for cuts! The vibe is laid back and comfortable, the music is great, and it’s just an all around cool spot. ❤️

Super chill guys and a welcoming space. Asked Jake for a mod cut, showed him a few pics, and he nailed it! Also like that they pay close attention to details and make sure you leave with the cut you wanted which I really appreciate. I won’t be going anywhere else, this is my shop now 💈

Paid 41$ for a haircut, the guy cut my hair for about 10 minutes and asked if it’s ok I said I’d like it a bit shorter and he said that will be a new haircut since he said I didn’t tell him exactlyyy what I wanted meaning I’d have to pay another 41$. Made me feel horrible for wanting my hair to cut a certain way , I felt so ashamed I paid and walked out, the whole rest of my day was itchy and cut hair all over my body. All in all horrible experience, never in my life had a barber ask me for more money before he had finished working, and for just 10 minutes.

One star dude?! Cmon, I saw you walk out with a nice haircut. There’s a big difference between wanting it a “bit shorter” and asking for a mowhawk after letting Jake give you whole cut. What are you mad because someone called you out for being indecisive? Also, there’s no way you got a 10 minute haircut. Stop exaggerating. The only thing you should be ashamed of is trashing a small business on the internet. <br><br>

Outstanding barbers. Outstanding haircuts. Fair prices. Always good banter. Comfy. Relaxed. Ask the guys for music recs. I've pointed many friends to Matt's and they expertly handle hair that's straight, curly, longer and shorter. They also do great work with queer hair styles.

Great barbershop that's got old school service with rock n roll vibes. I procrastinate on getting haircuts but at Matt's they deal with my 4-month overgrowth like pros and leave me feeling fresh and clean every time. That and no-extra eyebrow trims and back-of-the-neck shaves have kept me coming back for years. Only downside could be that *too* many people like it here so there's sometimes a long line!
