Steven Accepted my husband as a walk in to chop off his long hair. Gave him the exact cut he wanted while being fun and friendly. The space was very nice and clean along with being affordable.

Walked in and got a great haircut from Steve. Went from long hair to short and I didn't know what kind of style I wanted. Steve really helped me figure out what would look good with my hair and taught me how to maintain and style it. Wonderful experience! It really felt like Steve wanted me to long good and didn't hesitate to take the time to get there.

This was one of the best haircuts I’ve had in years. The precision, attention to detail, and personalized service made it a standout experience.

Tried DiSalvo’s for the first time today. Mike was a great barber, friendly and detailed. Perfect old school barbershop.

Only ever had John, but a consistently solid haircut and friendly atmosphere. Charming little hole in the wall location tucked off the street. Extremely convenient for an early morning haircut folded into my morning commute to downtown, short walk from State Street and Downtown Crossing. They prefer CA$H!

A staple in my life since 2008. I’ve been going to John for every important haircut I’ve had, a big job interview, my wedding; no matter the occasion big or small, John is the consummate professional. His team is the exact same. Mike, Lupe and Paula are equally skilled and always do a great job when I’ve walked in and John wasn’t available. Online booking is such a convenience and easy to do. The straight razor is a bonus lost in the modern generation of churn and burn salons. Highly recommended!

Moved here from NY and have to say there is no better place in the city to get your hair cut. Have been going for years until recently moving out of the state…but when I am back in town for work, I always make time to swing by to see Mike for a haircut. Booking online is extremely convenient, if Mike is not available I sit with John or one of the ladies…never disappointed walking out the door. Do not understand how they have been able to keep the price so low ($35+) over the years! Hours could be better but it’s worth shifting around the work schedule to make it in.

I was long overdue for a haircut. Booked online seamlessly with John and was in the barbershop a couple of hours later. it was my first time at the barbershop and I was initially confused as to where it was exactly. The entrance is not directly off the street - it's within a complex on the mezzanine (up a small set of stairs). There are a couple of small signs in the hallway pointing towards it, but eventually I found it by asking the guy working the building's reception. As for the cut itself, it was great. I'll definitely be returning. John took his time, was meticulous and made sure I was happy with his work.

It's a very quaint little barbershop. It has that feeling of finding something new that has always been there. It's the little part of Boston that you need to explore online or have friends that's your part of their circle for you to know about it. But that doesn't undermine the skills of The barbers. The barber who helped me get her stylish lineup was courteous and accommodating to my questions regarding sanitation. He styled my hair promptly without delay and finish quickly. He was an older gentleman and treated me with respect. I gave him a tip and left the barbershop with a new look. Definitely recommend for those who haven't tried it yet.
