I had an appointment with Joey. He was super attentive and collaborative. He gave me the absolute best haircut I've had in ages. I brought in a reference photo of what I was trying to go for and he absolutely nailed it, making recommendations to fit my hair and head along the way. The establishment is extremely clean and inviting, and the whole team was friendly. Overall an incredible experience and I am looking forward to my next visit. 10/10 Highly recommend

It pains me to award a friendly staff with a negative review, but $63 for a simple 2-length buzz cut is absurd ($75 after tip). No razor touch up, no shampoo, not even a hot towel. I honestly feel that 3 stars is being kind.

Hi Samuel,<br><br>Dan, the owner here. I’m sorry to hear about your experience here. <br><br>I spoke with your stylist this morning about the service you were provided. She informed me that you denied both the wash and the razor on the neck. Is that not the case? She said you informed her that you had to get back to work. <br><br>I know the price points are pretty expensive here on Newbury Street. Unfortunately , it comes with the expensive location and experience of our staff. 63$ is actually one of the lowest on the street for a men’s haircut. <br><br>We obviously want everyone here to leave happy. In town for a wedding. Booked a beard trim w Joey who did an amazing job - he’s a pro w any type of clippers. Excellent attention to detail. Took time to rid me of any flyaways. Superb effort. I’m a massive fan of this joint.

Decent haircuts, but for a place as expensive as it this, you’d think you’d think they could afford someone to answer the phones! I understand that booking happens online, but for minor last-minute changes there is no way to communicate them online. Really frustrating and not a good look to cheap out on customer service when you are charging 80 dollars for a haircut. As is the fact that I consistently have to wait at least 10-15 minutes after my appointment time to be seen. And as a response to the owner’s condescending comment below, most industries do in fact have someone available to answer the phone. As I mentioned, I understand that the policy exists, I just think it is bad business and indicates cheapness (which is not ideal for someone in the service industry).

Hi M R, thanks for visiting. We let our customers know from the beginning when they book that we do not have a front desk receptionist. Our apologies that this does not suit you, but it has been like this for 5+ years. Most industries have transitioned to software. It’s just how it is now in 2025. <br><br>There’s no need to call when you can text and email right in. They go right to the service provider. <br><br>Last minute changes are difficult for any industry. Which is why we have text. It’s much easier for both sides. I stopped by this barber shop a few weeks ago, and I’m really glad I did. The atmosphere is welcoming from the moment you walk in — clean space, good music, and friendly barbers who make you feel at ease. My barber took time to listen to what I wanted and offered some helpful advice to make the cut look even better. If you’re looking for a place that combines skill, cleanliness, and a friendly touch, I definitely recommend giving this shop a try.

Great location and amazing vibe inside! I saw Dougie before coming home to see my family and he got me looking CORRECT. I don't think there's anything he can't do and was so personable the whole time - he really took the time to understand what I was looking for even though I'm not too familiar with the proper "barbershop lingo". 10/5 recommend to everyone I know in the city and will definitely be back.

I got a haircut from Bogdan(Bo), he was very friendly and did an excellent job. I didn’t know exactly what I wanted and he worked with me and gave me an amazing haircut! I’m very happy with my visit and will be going back as a regular customer now.

Bo is absolutely fantastic. I’ve been coming to Bo for over a year for both beard trims and haircuts. He’s a brilliant guy, who does an outstanding job. He’s also great conversation. Best hair cut I’ve had in Boston. Highly recommend.

The staff is fantastic. My stylist, Gama, is a really great guy and does an incredible job on my hair. He listens, discusses options with me, and always takes extra time to add small, but greatly appreciated, touches that enhance the overall quality of the experience. I highly recommend this salon.

Scheduling your appointment online is so convenient!! We were able to get in the same afternoon we arrived in to Boston. Bo did a great job cleaning up my husbands beard and shaving him. I think my husband slept the whole time he was that relaxed. You guys have a great shop!!! Highly recommended!!!
