Maybe they aren’t used to working with long hair on men. The language barrier was also prohibitive, and no shade to Boston’s other amazing Spanish-speaking barbers in general. I thought I pretty clearly expressed in both Spanish and in English that I was getting my long (and insanely thick) hair thinned and textured to grow it out more, and that I wanted it to sit flat as it grew instead of puffing up and out, but the guy was confused about what I was saying and basically gave me a bowl cut.

The arrogance and attitude of barbers telling you they know more about haircut because they are barbers is appalling when you give an opinion that you are not happy with the haircut. Listen to your customer when they ask about their haircut and what they want. If your focus is on baseball on the big screen and just chatting about the game while doing a haircut you are not serving your customer. Focus more on the haircut, engage with your customer, receive feedback and make changes. Customer deserves that respect when you are charging $30 for a haircut. I came for a decent haircut not stuff going on the TV screen.

Amazing experience! Both my six-year-old son and I got fantastic haircuts here. The staff was friendly, patient, and great with kids. The attention to detail was top-notch, and the value is unbeatable—you get a great haircut for a very reasonable price. Highly recommend this barbershop for all ages!

—Yet again, another amazing visit. I’ve been going to Edwin for over a year now and have had amazing cuts! Mostly low-skin fade or taper — and for being a 35yr. old dad I am very impressed (haha) $25 well spent!

One of the best haircuts I've had! I walked in on a Sunday morning and got my hair cut by Juan. I told him what I wanted, he was quick, efficient and gave exactly the style of haircut I asked for. I'm very impressed and happy with the overall experience. This was my first time visiting the shop and I would not hesitate to go back and would highly recommend Juan!
