The haircut was done mostly with a buzzer and is without doubt the closest cut ever. The kicker is the 5$ fee for having booked online , payable after my cut was finished even though when I arrived there was no wait. Will NEVER return .

Great haircut at a great price. It's so nice that you can make an appointment on your phone (walk-ins are accepted too). I showed a picture of me when I had a great haircut in the past, and he matched it perfectly. They speak English as well as Spanish, and they will understand you in either language. I'm not much of a talker while I get my hair cut, and that was fine. Cash only, but there's an ATM in the shop if you need it.

5 Stars – Outstanding Experience! I had the pleasure of visiting Shanik Barbershop for the first time and was fortunate enough to get my haircut by Maikol—and I was absolutely blown away. He delivered one of the best haircuts I’ve ever had. The attention to detail, skill, and professionalism were top-notch. The vibe in the barbershop is incredibly welcoming and relaxing, making it a place you genuinely enjoy spending time in. On top of the excellent service, the pricing is very reasonable for the quality you receive. I couldn’t be more pleased with my experience and will absolutely be recommending Shanik Barbershop to friends and family. Looking forward to my next visit!

This is hands-down my favorite barbershop in all of Massachusetts. I know that’s a bold claim, but it’s true for me! I’ve been to plenty of barbershops across the state and none compare to this one. Angel is my go-to barber and he consistently does a phenomenal job. My hair is thinning, and I’ve started losing it, but he always manages to leave me looking sharp and feeling confident. He takes his time, gives a precise cut, and delivers an excellent beard lineup every time. What sets this place apart is the attention to detail. So many shops claim to offer beard care but don’t even use a straight razor, leaving me to finish the job at home. That’s never the case at Shanik’s. They get it right the first time. The entire staff is friendly and easygoing, and the atmosphere is relaxed and welcoming. On top of all that, the prices are more than reasonable— actually cheaper than any other shop I’ve been to. The quality far exceeds the cost. This is my go-to spot. The only downside? I live 100 miles away. I visit family nearby often, which gives me a chance to stop in. But honestly, I’d drive the two hours just to get my hair cut here. When you’re already feeling self-conscious about your hair—or the lack of it—finding a place that consistently delivers great results is a game changer. And every time I leave, I get compliments for days afterwards.

My 77 year old Dad goes there every time he needs a haircut. They are ALWAYS nice to him and do a great job. That means so much to me! Thank you!!

I just moved to Cambridge and was really scared about haircuts as I want my hair & beard in a very specific style and when I went to this shop I was still scared to come out looking like shit but Maikol Marinez did a really great job, he understood what I wanted and he got it done! Highly recommended and very reasonable too!

Love my neighborhood barber shop. Been coming here since they opened. I can always count on Maikol to give an excellent cut. Perfect fades and the cleanest lines. Highly recommended. Cash only, so come prepared or use the ATM at the shop.

The best barbershop in the area!!! Very clean, very nice guys!! Also very talented.. they take their time to give you the best cut.. and the best part : their prices are unbeatable..
