Popped into Scott’s this past Saturday for an overdue haircut. What a refreshing vibe back to what a barbershop is supposed to be!

Might be better if there was a buffet, but if what you’re after is a Great haircut, reasonable price, plenty of Field & Streams and walk-ins only….this place will more than fill the bill. Still, bring your own sandwich.

Probably the worst haircut I have ever received in my life. I had medium long hair, I told Scott I want to keep it long but clean up the back and sides a little bit. I should have known as soon as I saw the clippers this was game over for me, but I figured I trust the barber since this is his job. I also told Scott I want to thin out the top and back of my head because of the thickness of hair, Scott did not do that. Now the back of my hair is very thick and bulky. The cut is the most un-even cut all around. Scott seems like a genuine person, but highly suggest not going to a place for cut with medium or longesh hair. This place is for old men who just want a simple trim up, the barbers are not skilled in modern cutting. They do not use any scissors or thinning sheers, everything is done with clippers. Price is very cheap, and I regret tipping as much as I did.

Stopped in recently to ask about pricing and if I need to make an appointment. Scott was very friendly and let me know that it was walk in only and their price for a standard cut. I decided to stay since he had a seat open and I ended up getting one of the best haircuts I've had in a long time along with a great conversation while I got my haircut. Very happy that I've found my new barber. The only thing I regret is not coming here sooner.

First time here, and I'm sold. The haircut was meticulous. These barbers actually want to hold a real conversion while they work, which is worth the money alone. At the end they tried to change me $16 for one of the best haircuts I've ever had. So I paid double. Definitely an old school style barber shop atmosphere, which I prefer to modern day salon type experiences.

Great haircut and do not have to drive to West Memphis for it. The barber, Scott is experienced and very professional. His shop is a new start up but he has many years experience and is looking to build his new clientele. Stop in and give him a shot, I don't believe you will be disappointed!

Took my 5 year old son after going to a dozen different Great Clips over the last year trying to find someone who could give him a decent haircut. Finally, we landed at Scott’s Barber Shop. Ed was so kind and welcoming. He fixed the long history of bad haircuts riddled through his hair and he looked so handsome when he finished. We have been back twice and he doesn’t disappoint. Great Barber Shop! Great Prices! Great People!

I'm relatively new to KC and was worried I'd lose out on having a quality barber that doesn't charge an arm and a leg. Scott was the first shop I visited, and my search was ended. Quality haircut, great conversation, agreeable pricing. 03/2022 Update: Just wanted to provide an update, Scott has added a couple of new barbers and they are both extremely friendly and provide a solid haircut. This is still a barbershop worth going to!

This place is truly a hidden gem. My haircut was quick and literally perfect. The barbers are both fun to talk with and it truly was an enjoyable experience outside of just the amazing haircut I received. Pricing is very affordable, especially for the quality. It’s also worth noting that the chairs are large and very comfortable. It made the experience that much better. I did mess up and didn’t realize they are cash only.
