We were searching for a new barber for my son. Booked at 10am kids appointment for Saturday. Walked through the door around 9:57am and waited for the barber, Crystal. She was slumped over a chair talking with another patron already seated. Even after Aaron told her her appointment was here, she continued to finish her conversation rather than greet us. When I told her we are canceling the appointment due to her focus on her conversation and not her customer, she simply smiled and said ok instead of offering an apology. If I can gather a cash payment, drive 30 minutes and get to the appointment early, you can be attentive enough to greet me and get started with the appointment on time. The professionalism of Aaron Wyatt is the reason this is a two star review. He offered us water upon entry and tried to make amends for Crystal's behavior.

Drei gives my son the best cut he's ever had. We continue to come back monthly and it's always a great experience. Shop is very clean and inviting. Staff is excellent!

I’d give Morgan 6 stars if I could. Best haircut of my life, I’m beyond happy. Just a perfect haircut. Morgan and everyone else were all super nice. Strongly recommend! EDIT - had a cut by Jazzy and it’s also perfect. Best barbershop all time.

Purple Label Luxury Barber Shop is fantastic. Quality barbers with a real connection to our KC community. José is my go to, but you can’t go wrong with any barber at a local shop like this 💙

These guys are the absolute best barber shop and have the MOST TALENTED barbers in the KC metro area!! I moved to KC for about a year and a half from NJ and struggled to find a good shop and barber to cut my hair (I'm very particular) but these guys were a breath of fresh air! The shop is super clean, all of the staff are very friendly and social! Drai took very good care of me every single time, super punctual, flexible with his schedule professional and a very talented young gentleman, he did not disappoint! I will visit him whenever I travel back to KC for work! All in all of you're looking for a quality barber shop experience and very competitive pricing look no further Purple Label is the only shop to book with! Thank you for making my short time in KC feel a little like home!!!

The service is exceptional!! Every single barber/artist can and will give you the renewal you need. I’ve been a regular for over 15 years. The staff doesn’t change often which indicates the environment and leadership DeJuan, owner, leads. Purple Label is appointment based which leads you in and out without the dreaded wait of sit and watch!! However, they will absolutely take walk-ins on the spot, or get them scheduled. Aaron is my barber. I don’t let anyone touch my hair or my brows!! Book with anyone in here and trust me it won’t be trial and error!!! Color: me eyebrows, haircut: Aaron

If I could give this barbershop a 10/10 I would do it!! Today I just got my haircut from Jose who I've been going to for a long time. I came in today for a regular appointment to know I accidentally missed it! I thought I had it for a different time but I mistakenly thought of a different time. Me and Jose were talking and figuring out a solution and he said I could try to squeeze you in before my next client comes in. Once he was done with his client he only had about 12-15 minutes left before the next one. And no joke this man got my haircut done in 15 minutes!! I always forget how quick he can cut hair but today blew me away. What I always appreciate about Jose is that he prioritizes getting your haircut done in a timely manner. I didn't really need much done with my hair but he was very kind enough to get my beard done as well. Even with a short amount of time this haircut still looks amazing! If you are someone new that is thinking about going to this place or wanting to change barbers. Go to Jose ASAP!!! He is a great person and really cares about getting the haircut you want. Plus he will get you looking like a movie star!!

Best barber I've ever been to. We never have to wait past our appointment time, the facility is very tidy, the staff incredibly friendly, the cuts are perfect, and the atmosphere is clean and inviting. They can service both caucasian and ethnic hair. I would recommend this barber again and again and again.
