Hands down the best barber I’ve been to. He listens to what you want and delivers it with precision. Every cut is immaculate. Jalen knows exactly what he’s doing. On top of that, he’s super friendly and personable. Jalen goes above and beyond to take care of you. Highly recommend.

The haircut itself was perfect—exactly what I wanted and very precise. The appointment was quick and efficient, and he finished in about 30 minutes. However, I felt the customer service was a bit rough—not sure if it’s his style or just how he is. I called for a quick appointment and that was handled well, but the overall vibe felt a little off for me. I’m Asian, so maybe it’s just a personal preference, but I wanted to share my honest experience. I tipped generously because I appreciated the haircut, but I don’t think I’ll be returning. No offense intended—just my honest feelings. Months ago.

Got cut by Jalen and I can confirm he is THE barber. Best place I’ve been to in the KC area, he knows how to cut curls and fades the back and sides super well. Honestly wish my hair grew faster so I could go more often.

Jalen fit us in last minute and did an amazing job on both our boys hair! Not only did he ask for our input but he also engaged the boys and their opinions on their hair mattered as well. We talked the entire time and the conversation flowed and was so easy! Price was great and the service amazing! We will definitely be back! Thank you!!!

I have curly and unruly hair and is quite not easy to get a proper style. I have tried multiple stylists but have been in an OK-OK mindset all the while. Jalen assessed my hair, listened to me patiently and then suggested some styles which I was convinced of and I love the results. I feel happy when I look at the mirror. Jalen is a professional, knows his craft, has a great salon studio and nice music too! Those who are in this location, I highly recommend him. I strongly believe that he will do his best to delight you as a customer.

Jalen was amazing. Great character, was able to guide me with changing my hair style so it would work well with me. Made sure I was comfortable before making any slight changes and kept great communication throughout the hair cut.

We went in for a haircut for my 12 year son, and he was really took the time to understand what I wanted, offering helpful suggestions along the way.
