If looking for a barber I highly recommend Nuskie. Good with kids. Very reasonable prices for kids cuts. He has been my son’s barber for about a year and a half. I came looking for a barber and he did not hesitate to take my son on as a new client. Very professional and flexible. There has been times where I needed last minute appointments and he gets us in with no problem. Again definitely recommend him to anyone looking for a local barber!

Hair was not done right. I went to get a haircut the week of thanksgiving 2025 and I felt like the barber ( the owner / manager )intentionally messed my hair up. I called and he told me he “ couldn’t do it today “ the day before thanksgiving and then he said I must have brushed it and that’s why it looks the way it does. The way I found out my haircut was messed up was because I was on FaceTime and had turned around and somebody seen it because I didn’t even know. Mind you the same day I got my haircut I had to go back because one side of my mustache was shaved and the other side wasn’t. Then he told me you want it all shaved off??? And cut my mustache extremely short. Smh. Then he refused to refund me for the two bald spots in the back of my head and said if I were to come back he was gonna double charge me and basically said he was the only one willing to cut my hair.

New New is the best barber in Kansas City! Great place to take your kids. They have a PlayStation and Xbox in the front lobby. They have a ATM just in case you don't have cash and a vending machine. Best barber shop I've been to an area.

I was referred to this place when my sons needed to find a new barber. My sons love this place. They felt like the barbers really understand how young men like their cuts. The haircut energy for everyone who walks out a this place is real. Good job everyone!

I would not recommend this shop to anyone. My grandson face is all cut up. His fade is way too high. Cut is garbage. The light skin middle age guy that is in the first chair when you come in did it. This place should be shut down. He charged him $25 for this butcher job.

Horrible experience! My son was interested in changing his hair style, so after a month of growing it out we decided to find a barber. After searching online and finding this shop that I saw had good reviews we decided to check it out. Initially, when we walked in, one of the barbers at the front of the shop greeted us and asked if we were there for a haircut. He had a client at the time and directed us to another barber who as we walk to his chair didn't greet us or really say anything. My son sat down in his chair and I made my way back to a glass enclosed lobby area. The barber started the cut and about 5 minutes in he recieved a phone call. He took the call, then went to the back for several minutes. I'm not tripping about that because if it was a personal matter, I get it. However, this brother comes out from the back then sees one of his buddies in the lobby area where I am sitting and proceeds to hold a casual conversation with this dude as if my son doesn't matter. I looked at him as if to say really?? Trying not to get indignant on this barber and maintained my composure. But as one black man to another how disrespectful can you be? Also, once he completed my son's cut my son gets up from the chair, dude doesn't tell him how much the cut was just takes two twenties my son gave him. Doesn't ask my son if he needed change, nothing. No interaction whatsoever. So, when my son came to the lobby area, I asked him a few questions. I turned around and went back into the barbershop. My intentions were to find out how much the cut was which I knew it had to be around thirty dollars. However, considering my son asked for a low fade, lineup and sponge bush the top. For him to have the audacity to think after all that I mentioned he deserved a ten dollar tip. If that brother needed it that bad, more power to him. But he won't be getting it from me or my son anymore.

AVOID DEVONTE when u go here. Dude cut my sons hair for 10 minutes, charged my husband $25 dollars, forgot he had an appointment and here we are 3 days later it looks like my son didn’t even get a hair cut. My precious husband being the wonderful man he is still gave a tip. Other barbers might be good here but Devonte is TRASH.

Moved to Overland Park in Nov and needed a haircut when I arrived but I'm extremely picky at how it's cut. I went on Google and looked through soooooo many barbershops and my first mind told me to pick this place. It was a wise choice. Some of the best haircuts that I've ever had. As long as I'm here I will be coming here. More than happy when I walk out. Great price for an even greater haircut and it has a nice atmosphere!
