Let me tell you. This is my favorite shop to go to. I come in all the time. My barber little gets me right and deals with me when I am in a bad mood. Cam stays professional and will make sure im satisfied before getting me out the chair. If you need a barber with a shop that's fun and atmosphere that is welcoming. Come to the experience. Not all the barbers are equal or good. Watch out if you have hair on your head longer than an inch. This barber cut my head and had all the hair lying down. When I asked for comb an stood it up, it was uneven all over and he felt he was done. He couldn’t even it out because the skills he didn’t possess. Ali was the barber. The reviews say use Mr Black but his chair was occupied. To bad I won’t be back.

My 16yo son, dx with Autism, Nonverbal asked for a haircut at the Barbershop. This was a huge ordeal, as haircuts were always administered by his maternal grandparents. I called The Experience Thursday, and talked to Wayne, who scheduled my son Saturday at 4p. See results! No fussing, screaming, aversion to all the sounds in a Barbershop or the people, as it was busy! I could not be happier! Wayne is great, highly recommend this man or any of the Barbers/Stylists as the atmosphere was relaxing, entertaining and very accomodating! 3rd successful Barbershop experience with Wayne. My 16yo requests to see Wayne, so we are now going to have a set schedule of a cut every 6 weeks! I'm so excited my young teen is liking his trips to his Barber. Thank You Wayne! 4th Experience today, and nothing bad to say. Wayne, Our Barber took my son and Dad, who is a Senior Citizen in, and they look amazing! HIGHLY RECOMMEND Wayne and The Experience!

It's an experience! My boys like going and are entertained while they wait. Their barber, Blaq, and all the barbers are all top-notch, detail oriented, and timely. Everyone walks out looking clean! I love my loc stylist, Amber. She takes pride in her work. Book your appointment, you won't be disappointed.

Great service Black was amazing. I had a 6 am appointment, which was set up the day before. 3/15/2025 Everything went smoothly. No other barbers in this area are doing 6 am appointments on a Saturday. Truly old school, in and out. Just remember to get there on time for your appointment.

This Barbershop is awesome!!! All of the barbers are so nice and friendly and they are great with kids! My son was diagnosed with autism, but his barber Damon was so patient with him and did an amazing job. Best place in Merrillville!

I took my two boys in here for a haircut on Saturday and Damon was amazing and did my boys hair just how they wanted it done. I can't thank him enough. Great atmosphere and very chill. My boys are very happy and we'll definitely be back to see Damon ❤️

The barbers there are great. The walls are plastered with portraits of icons add to barbershop vibe. Wayne is our barber and he is excellent with our son. He'll even change the TV to cartoons. The owner loves to workout, so don't surprise to see with a set of dumbells by his chair. He might even challenge you to do a few sets of 10 while you wait.
