Denzel has been cutting my son’s hair for almost three years now since he was just 2 years old and I truly believe God placed him in our lives for a reason. My son may be on the spectrum, and something as simple as a haircut can feel overwhelming, but from the very beginning, Denzel has shown a level of patience, grace, and compassion that goes far beyond his profession. He never rushes my son. He meets him exactly where he is, with kindness and understanding, and creates a calm, safe space that brings peace not just to my child, but to me as a parent. As a mother, there is no greater comfort than knowing your child is in caring hand and Denzel has been nothing short of a blessing to our family. Watching someone treat your child with love, dignity, and respect is something you never forget. My son feels comfortable with him, and that alone speaks volumes. The fact that his hair always looks amazing is just the icing on the cake. We are beyond grateful for Denzel and will forever appreciate the heart he puts into what he does. If you’re looking for a barber who leads with skill, patience, and God-given compassion, Denzel is truly one of a kind.

Denzel was super gentle with my son! He serviced us as soon as we walked in. Only complaint is he cursed a few times in front of him in casual conversation with someone else in the shop. But he did so well on my son’s hair with the few instructions I gave him!

The energy is unmatched, welcoming, and professional, and my barber, Calvin, is a true artist. This is not just a place to get a haircut; it's a space where deep and intellectual conversations flow, confidence is built, and everyone leaves looking AND feeling their best. My son and I both get our haircuts, and it can sometimes be challenging to find a barbershop where you feel comfortable as a woman. Vibes are awesome here! Everyone is openly friendly and easy to talk to! And the haircuts on my younger brothers are on point! They have skill that’s for sure! Definitely recommend them! My brothers don’t wanna go no where else! God forbid I tell them let’s go back to their old stylist lmfaoooo

I decided last minute to cut my sons locs off. I called the closest place to my new job and so glad I did! Love the vibe, the barbers were so cool and accommodating. I didn’t even catch their names but top-tier respectful friendly experience!

My family and I truly enjoy the atmosphere at Impact, thanks to the welcoming vibe created by owner Calvin. As a woman, I always feel comfortable and at ease in his establishment. It’s a warm, family-friendly environment where everyone is treated like family. Over time, we’ve even built a bond with my son’s barber, Blue he’s like family now. We highly recommend Impact for all your barbering needs!

This place was amazing! The attention to detail, I noticed all of the barbers had was something you don’t see very often. I also enjoy that they’re open later than previous barbershop we have gone to. I wish it didn’t take you so long to find this place!!

Me and my son decided to do a little pop up walk in visit today. We walked in and everyone was nice and greeted us with open arms. My son is 4 yrs old and Denzel was very patient and nice to my son. He took his time cutting his hair and for the first time I didn’t have to step in and correct or coach him how to cut my baby hair. We’ll definitely be back for another fresh cut. Definitely a 10/10
