Great local barbershop with a dope atmosphere. All 3 barbers are very professional and take their time making sure you get the cut you want. You will not leave disappointed. *BigLou has been cutting my hair for years.

the line up was great but the back and all around it was horrible i think David used dog clippers to mess me up im never going back for 50 dollar this is very bad and he didnt even offer a discount for a baber shop rated 4.7 stars and im not going to highshool because of this haircut even my old uncle could of done better i was hoping to bring my little brother but because of this im never taking him. i took this picture with the back and white filter to see if it would look better but on serious term never go here this baber is taxing and giving mess up cuts.

Jeremy and the boys are awesome. When I go there it’s like I’m chilling with some friends I knew for a while. Great service. Prices are affordable. They are so awesome that each barber has a nice clientele. Be sure to schedule an appointment you won’t be disappointed!

Great barbershop 💈! All the barbers there are really cool guys and make a great atmosphere for you! I always make a appointment and never have to wait when it’s my time I’m able to hop right in the chair. If your looking for a new barbershop check these guys out you wont be disappointed!

Met Big Lou a couple weeks ago on my first visit. His skills are a cut above the rest in the region. Good ambience in the shop, great music, and an interesting revolving cast of customers. Feels like it's getting harder to find a good barbershop. Other barbers in the region are too busy talking away on their phones then wonder why they don't get a call back. A barbershop is more than just about getting your hair cut and other brothers don't get it. Lou's down to earth and makes you feel welcome. I won't be going anywhere else.

This barbershop is very professional. They go above and beyond to make sure you leave with a nice clean haircut. BigLou has been cutting my kids for years....highly recommend!! Make sure to schedule appointment in advance.....due to to them getting booked very fast on the weekend.

I came through for a quick cut. They were able to get me an appointment within 2 hours of calling and got me in and out quick, but not too quick. I saw the owner Jeremy, and he took his time giving me a quality cut and walked me through every step of the way. Prices are fair and the the shop is conveniently located on Hohman Ave across from the Hammond South Shore train station. Even if you’re not from the area, I’d recommend giving Empire a try.

First time ever going to this place and I gotta say, it's one of the best haircut experiences I've ever had. The barber was very friendly and talkative, I showed him a very specific haircut (undercut with length on top and a natural blending with the sides and back) and he achieved it perfectly. Very good experience, and I will definitely be coming back here. Recommend this to any one looking for a real haircut experience!

I’ve been getting my haircut here ever since they opened and I couldn’t be more satisfied. I met the owner, Jeremy, at a previous location and followed him when he opened his own business. They make you feel very welcomed. They’re all courteous, polite and professional. They do take walk-ins but I’d recommend making an appointment. Give them a try. You won’t be disappointed.

I have to say that this has been my best experience with a barbershop in 31 years of living. I think what makes the experience different, aside from the quality cuts is that this is Jeremy’s and the other barber’s passion. You can tell too; it exudes in the way they do business. Always great vibes, great conversations and great cuts.
