Held off on leaving this review, but I have to look at it daily, and it always bugs me. Miguel was giving me a haircut a few months ago and politics got brought up, I told Miguel that Harris would lose the election, his body language immediately changed, he quit trying to carry on any conversation and then proceeded to take my hairline up much further on one side, now the hair is regrowing and is much shorter than the hair around it, it looks awful and I can't help but think what a petty person Miguel is. I still paid him $40 in cash even though he did me dirty. You can argue it all you want. You were the one taking bets on the election that led to the conversation and his reaction. I know he used to have his own biz. Sure there a reason it went under. Even my kids were like "dang dad..." when I got home and took my hat off. I remember that day, because it was literally the worst haircut of my life.

There are other ways that are recommended for hair growth when it starts to recede. Im sorry he might have cut it shorter than wanted but he definitely isn't responsible for your hair not growing back. I would look into finasteride or monoxidil which should help solve the issue of hair loss.

This is one of the best barbershops in Northwest Indiana. I used to drive all the way to Chicago, but thank goodness I found a place close to home. They cut damn good hair! Highly recommend. 10/10

Overall pleasant experience other than I asked for the hair on my head to be as short as possible and maybe I’m in the wrong for assuming that meant a razor blade trim but I realized there was still quite a bit of stubble on my head when I was back home. Beard trim was pretty ok. Totally was 40 after the tip.

I’ve been coming to this barbershop for years, and I wouldn’t go anywhere else! The barbers are excellent—skilled, professional, and always friendly. The shop has an old-fashioned feel that gives it a great vibe, making every visit a comfortable and enjoyable experience. Step back in history with a visit to Grimaldi's Barbershop in Chesterton IN! One would never know from the unassuming store front at Grimaldi's Barbershop that the place holds some pretty impressive credentials circa 1894. It holds the title of being the only business to date in the area that is still doing the same business in the same building! Of course, the owners have changed throughout the years, but the fact remains that it's still a barbershop. And, a fine shop it is! The atmosphere is welcoming and has a cool, laid back vibe with an earthy neighborhood feel. On my first visit, there were customers that just stopped by with their morning coffee to chat with the barbers. It's just that kind of place and I was hooked from the beginning. It was quite obvious that the barbers are dedictated to their crafts. They listen to their customers, take their time and ask questions. I wanted to make an update to my haircut with some contemporary touches while being age appropriate at the same time. They delivered! I couldn't be happier with my cuts from both Steve and Chris to date. If you're looking for a reliable barbershop with talented barbers, give Grimaldi's a try. The nostalgia of the place creates a unique experience reminiscent of our parents dragging us as kids to get a haircut against our will. Those memories now are all good ones!

Showed up on Sunday afternoon. Another local Barbershop failed to honor my appointment. So I walked in and was the only one there. The Barber there did and excellent straight razor shave, and haircut.

Chris is a phenomenal barber. Extremely easy to talk to, very friendly, I felt comfortable right from the get-go. And not to mention, my haircut turned out amazing. Would highly recommend, will most definitely be returning in the future. Thanks, Chris!

Awesome guys who genuinely care about giving you a great haircut!! I stopped in a few months ago and won’t go anywhere else now. Steve, Chris and Miguel have all cut my hair and all do an outstanding job. Chris did a great job on my 2 year olds hair also, he was so patient even though they were busy and it turned out great. Keep up the great work fellas! 🍻

I stoped in for a haircut once and I’m hooked. I got Chris. I have been looking for someone to do my hair for a while. Chris did a great job. Actually gave me a contemporary look for an old 55-year-old guy. Everyone was very professional. My father used to take us there when I was a kid 40/50 years ago. I don’t recall the conversations ever being as lively,or as animated, or as fun,as they were yesterday. I will be back, and I would suggest that if you are a guy, it’s a place to go get your haircut and a shave. The prices are fair, and the guys are great.
