brought in a clear reference photo of a mullet-style cut for the sides. Not a vague description. Not “do whatever.” An actual picture. I specifically asked to leave the top alone and just shape the sides like the photo. The top? Yes, they left it alone like I asked. That is the only thing they got right. The sides, though? Completely butchered. They cut them way too high—nothing close to the mullet shape in the picture. Instead of that gradual, intentional taper I showed, I got something that looks accidental. It’s like they saw the photo for half a second and then just improvised. This wasn’t a “slightly off” situation. It’s not even in the same category as the reference. The whole point of showing a picture is so we’re on the same page. We were not even in the same book. Now I’m stuck growing this out because you can’t exactly glue hair back on. I didn’t ask for a dramatic chop. I didn’t ask for creativity. I asked for the sides to match the photo. That’s it. If you’re going here, understand that bringing a reference photo apparently means nothing. I walked in excited. I left wearing a hat. Ps, really frustrated barber was on the phone the whole time.

Amazing barbers with great manners and service. They do exceptional fades and price is very reasonable. Took my kids to them as well and they do a great job. Kids loved their cuts. So glad they started a business near my home.

1st time out of a strip mall chain salon and into a barbershop. What a difference!! Great cut. Attention to detail was 2nd to none. No doubts that im going back. Can't recommend Axis enough.

I had a fantastic experience at Axis cuts. The treatment was top-notch, and the atmosphere is warm and welcoming. They really listen to what you want and deliver exactly that. I highly recommend this barbershop 💈 for anyone in the area. They’ve got great expertise and a genuine care for their clients. Definitely a must-visit!

I recently brought my son to Axis Cuts and had a wonderful experience! My son’s hair was out of control and needed a good cut, so I decided to try this new barbershop near my home. I’m so glad that I did! When we got there, we were greeted by the owner, Nader. He was very welcoming and professional, he listened to my concerns and cut my son’s hair exactly like he asked. My son was so happy to see his new haircut, he loved it! He left feeling so happy and kept looking at himself in the mirror. The barbershop itself is really modern, its new and clean, and has a great ambiance. The music choice was also fun and lively. I’m so glad we found this new barbershop for our family. Axis Cuts has earned a new client for life!
