Haven’t been to an establishment quite like this place. I didn’t feel like I was getting my hair cut at a barber academy. Felt like a true barber shop. Walked in to a warm greeting and the student cutting my hair felt like a trained professional rather than a student. Instructors were there to make sure the hair cut went smoothly, but Josh was doing a great job from the start. I got the exact cut I wanted for a fraction of what I’d pay anywhere else. Now I bring my kids here and they love it too. $10 haircuts that actually look good?! Come on, it’s a no brainer. Highly recommend you check this place out.

The guys here were PHENOMENAL with my young sons. We did two different types of haircuts for them and they executed both of them perfectly! On top of that, they were so patient with both boys. We will definitely be back as we were thoroughly impressed!

I went to Sheridan's Barbara Academy for a simple haircut that is easy to take care of. Anthony was my stylist/barber and he was just simply great. Easy to talk to, listened to me as I told him what I want. Frankly, it was the best haircut I've had in years. Understand these are students learning their craft. It will take longer to finish but it was worth it. Please tip these guys.

I took my sons here for the second time, and once again, I was very happy with the results! The students perform the haircuts, but the teachers are right there every second, watching closely, giving pointers, and making sure the students know exactly what they’re doing so every customer leaves with a great haircut and a smile. Everyone was super friendly and kind, and it was such a great experience. I really appreciated how the students took the time to talk with my boys, get to know them, and make them feel comfortable. Both times, my boys have walked out with amazing haircuts. Will and Tom, the founders of the Academy, are great teachers and truly care about their students’ success. They make the whole experience even better. Highly recommend!

Highly recommended! I took my almost 9 year old son here and everyone was so nice. He’s neurodivergent and they were very calm with him. They did a great job! It did take about a hour, but my son was able to sit still for the most part. Will definitely come again!

Sheridan’s barber academy always does an amazing job cutting my son’s hair. My little one can be a little squirmy, but the pros at the barber academy handle him with ease.

We’ve been going to Sheridan’s and Henczel’s for years now and today, I brought my son in for a haircut at the academy. The students were friendly and knowledgeable. They were careful with him and talked at his level so he knew when they needed him to do something. Tom is an excellent instructor- helpful when the students asked questions and followed up to make sure we were happy after they were finished cutting. He even made recommendations to the students and showed great teaching ability. Can’t wait to go back to help future barbers get hours toward their license.

Love it here. My son felt so calm about getting his hair cut. It takes a little bit longer but that’s because it’s an Academy where these people are learning how to cut hair properly. The owner Tommy is very helpful! You can definitely see him teaching the students how to cut hair the right way. Prices are very reasonable! The students seem very willing to learn, not goofing around like you see at other places. They take it seriously!

Took my sons here for the first time and I was super impressed! Students perform the haircuts but the teachers are right there watching every second and giving pointers. They were all super friendly and nice and it was a great experience. I will say though that if you are in need of a quick cut, this probably isn't the place for you because the students are learning and it takes a lot longer than a regular barber shop. But honestly, my boys have literally never had better haircuts in their lives and the extra time was completely worth it! We'll be back!

I had a great experience here. The barbers are skilled, friendly, and really take the time to make sure you leave the shop with exactly what you want. What really impressed me even more was how amazing they were with my 2 year old son. We don’t have the easiest toddler that sits still and our barber Tommy still managed to cut a perfect haircut. They were patient, gentle, and quick while still able to do what we asked for his hair. Highly recommend this place for both adults and kids. Family friendly, professional, welcoming, and truly great at what they do!
