My experience with Lombard barbershop has always been pleasant. Amd Riyad specifically always does a good job. He is very professional and tentative. I wanted to add a review this time because he went above and beyond and gave me a haircut even after hours. This is a great shop, everyone is highly skilled and they have excellent customer service.

Worst barbershop experience ever. Walked in for a simple hair trim and beard shaping. One barber was sleeping on the couch, another yelled for help. All three then openly mocked me in Arabic about my hair/beard, laughing loudly right in front of me. Extremely disrespectful. The barber barely spoke English, ignored my reference photo and instructions to shape/grow out the beard, kept asking “how short?” and rushed through a terrible, uneven cut. When I questioned him, he couldn’t explain anything properly. I walked out mid-service. Zero professionalism, poor skills, and blatant disrespect. Save yourself the humiliation — go anywhere else. 1 star only because zero isn’t an option.

I’ve been a regular customer, but during my visit yesterday the barber who did my haircut was very aggressive and behaved rudely. I usually pay $30 for a haircut and beard, but this time the aggressive barber charged me $40. I called today to confirm the price, and the person who answered told me it’s supposed to be $30 for a haircut with beard. I’m very disappointed and will not be coming back again.

Hair was getting a little too shaggy, and my regular wasn't available for a week, so I found Lombard Barbershop and they had mid-week, mid-day time for a quick cut. Rashid (pretty sure I caught his name...) was great. He made sure to understand what I was looking for, asked questions as he went, offered to touch up my beard / facial hair, razor shaved my face, neck, and back of neck, and generally did a great job. Didn't wait more than a minute before he was available. Was very pleased with the amount of time he took (not too fast, didn't waste time) and liked how carefully he considered his own work and offered opinions and suggestions. I'm not often in this area but I'd come back here. Only downside is that they did not appear to have sinks to rinse out the cut hair. That would've been nice as I was going back into work, but for a great cut I can live without that amenity. $30, great value.

Best barber in all of Chicagoland. Riyad always takes great care of me, and with very reasonable prices. Always pays great attention to detail and very friendly. Highly recommend!

Rashed is awesome! I found out that he is an experienced barber from Jordan who used to own his own salon. I received the most professional upscale service for half the price.

⭐☆☆☆☆ I’ve been coming to this salon for a couple of years mainly because the owner is amazing and always shows great customer service. Unfortunately, the rest of the experience has gone downhill. In the past, I wasn’t impressed with the staff, but at least it was a decent option. Now, there’s only one guy working here and he completely ruins the experience. He’s lazy, talks too much, doesn’t know how to communicate with customers, and always rushes through haircuts and shaves without any care for quality. Very disappointing – I won’t be coming back again.

I do not recommend this salon. I came in on September 9th between 10:20–11:20 am and was treated with complete disrespect. Waiting over 30 minutes was understandable since there were two people ahead of me, but what crossed the line was when the stylist told me to wash my own hair, tossed a towel on the chair, and said he was too busy. That’s unacceptable. If you can’t treat customers with basic respect, you shouldn’t be in this business. I regret ever coming here.

Walked in randomly on a Monday and waited around 15-20 minutes as it was pretty busy. The Barbers here work super fast and more than anything do a great job. Really happy with my cut and i will be back.

These guys are all pros and do not overcharge like some of these new “cool” barbershops. Can walk in, go to the first available guy, get a solid haircut for $20. In and out. Highly recommended. Stay overpaying barbers to cut hair! That girl doesn’t care if your haircut cost $6 or $60.
