What you see is what you get! I have been coming to Touhy barber for a couple years, and back when it was a smaller family run operation they were much more detail oriented and clean. Now unless you get the owner or his son, the haircut is rushed. I have a mole on the back of my neck (at the edge of my natural hairline) and during the last 2/3 haircuts I've gotten here, 2 different people have run right over it with their clippers while fading, despite being informed and shown it at the beginning. Once it started bleeding both of them just tried to staunch it with the powdered brush they use on everyone to remove hair clippings. Only after 3 minutes of random brushing on my neck do they inform me "yes we did in fact break skin sorry". Mind you this is two different instances, 2 seperate workers, maybe 1.5 months apart. I have doubts the equipment is properly sanitized between clients as I haven't seen it done. Once a client is done the most meticulous part of their clean up afterwards is to sweep hair then "next customer"! I don't expect much, this is a barber shop that excels at quick mens haircuts. Even professionals have accidents but trying to cover them up is not honest business. The casual attitude towards mistakes will get you a quick "sorry about that boss" and that's about it. The cuts are base $25 and honestly they could run a much tighter run operation with those profits (if they wanted). The owner is a very nice guy but unfortunately that only goes so far for me as a customer.

This was one of the worst barbershop experiences I’ve ever had. I showed up at 9:15 AM because Google Maps says they open at 9:00 AM. When I got there the barber at the first chair told me the other barber would not show up until 10:00 AM. I waited anyway and by 10:40 AM the barber still had not arrived. While waiting I asked the first barber how many people he had ahead of me. Even though I was one of the very first customers there and there were no appointments he told me he had four people and clearly did not want to take me. He was just taking whoever walked in next with zero respect for people who had already been waiting. After wasting over an hour and a half of my time I finally let him cut my hair and that was a huge mistake. I showed him a picture of exactly what I wanted. He barely looked at it and immediately started doing whatever he wanted. I asked for a low taper and he gave me a high fade and chopped off way too much hair. The haircut was rushed uneven and completely disproportionate. He absolutely butchered my hair. On top of ruining my haircut he was rude dismissive and clearly just trying to rush through as many customers as possible to make money. There was no professionalism no listening and no care at all. If you care about your time or your appearance stay far away from this barbershop. They do not open when they claim they do they do not respect customers and they do not listen. Easily one of the worst services I have ever received.

Roman is a great barber. He really takes his time and focuses on the very fine details. He is also very friendly and knowledgeable.

Great haircut and very reasonable prices. All of the barbers that I had a haircut from were good. One barber's English isn't great, but if you just show him a picture of the style you want, he'll take care of it. Overall, highly recommended!

Great haircuts! Great fades, Good job on beards and facial hair removal as well. I have been getting my haircut here twice a month for two years, never a bad experience. Family Barber shop owned and operated by the father and his two sons.

Talented barbers! I've tried a bunch of barber shops around town and I can say I've def found the one that best suites my needs. Good service, nice and clean space, reasonable prices and various services to pick from. Definitely my go to spot. I love the hot towel before shaving and the free couple minutes massage offered after every cut. Little things like those that set the place apart from all others.

Amazing barbershop located off of the highway. The couches are the most comfortable couches I’ve ever sat on in a barbershop. The workers are super friendly and give great fades. It is family owned and there is a great sense of community at the shop. My barber Rimon worked on my hair and trimmed up my beard a little!
