I've been going to Dying Breed for 3 years now and would highly recommend it. The staff is incredibly knowledgeable, friendly and welcoming. At first I was just looking for a great haircut and three years later, I keep coming back for the relationships I've built there. I get my hair cut from Ally, who does a phenomenal job, and the rest of the barbers are top notch as well.

Such an awesome barbershop! I was welcomed in by friendly faces right from the start. Ken cut my hair and he was amazing! Such a genuinely kind person, but also funny and so easy to talk to. He really took the time to listen to what I wanted done with my hair, and offered some super helpful guidance when I asked for his expertise. I’m so happy I found this place and will definitely be back to see Ken. I absolutely loved the cut, and the vibe was stellar all around!

I was visiting from out of town and I popped in here for a quick beard trim to clean up for an occasion. Taylor did a fantastic job and left me looking and feeling like a million dollars. This place is called Dying Breed because the original owner wanted to save the classic Italian barbershop experience. His spirit should rest assured that the experience is well preserved at Dying Breed. If you're in the area, and even if you're not, come get a hair treatment here. They take great care of you!

Ken is hands down one of the best barbers around. He takes his time to make sure every cut comes out clean and exactly how you want it. You can tell he really cares about his craft and his clients — professional, friendly, and consistent every single time. The shop’s atmosphere is always chill, and Ken makes everyone feel welcome. Whether it’s a simple fade, beard lineup, or a full restyle, he nails it. Highly recommend booking with him — you’ll walk out feeling fresh every time. 💈✂️

I always get a great haircut here, and booking online is super easy. Ally and Melissa are both great and are always welcoming and fun to talk to. Would definitely recommend Dying Breed if you’re looking for a new Barbershop!

We had a wonderful experience with Melissa! My son is terrified of haircuts and cried the entire time, but Melissa did an amazing job and was so sweet. We will definitely be back!

Great haircut! Highly recommend and loved the whole experience. What a cool shop! We used to go to Hinsdale Barber but unfortunately the turnover is very high and it’s hard to get an appointment with the consistent staff. Also, the overall haircut was way better here. My kids loved the environment, had a nice conversation with the stylist and even grabbed a drink on the way out. Super cool, you will not feel rushed and you will not be disappointed.

Ally and the entire crew at the shop are top notch! True old school bar shop vibe with a touch of the new! She is always on point with her cuts, and will always take the time to make you feel cared about, warm, and welcome, and most of give you the cut you are a looking for and deserve! One of the friendliest people along with everyone else who works there! Truly the best shop in town! I’ve never been unhappy with anyone’s service at this shop. Such a great spot! She has been cutting my hair for years, even before owning the shop. I highly recommend for anyone, especially your children! Such a cool, calm and relaxing environment with stylists you can trust to make you look and feel great, and especially at home! Highly recommend for you and your entire family! Best in town, and best men’s cuts I’ve ever gotten!!!

Great old school feel with a cool vibe and stylist and barber. My son and I got our haircuts and had a very nice experience. We will definitely be regulars here. Ally did our haircuts. Give it a try!
