Sadly, they don't do hair like mine. I went there today. There were 2 available technicians. No one was waiting. I asked for an easy trim and offered to pay for a full style but they refused me service. My hair is super easy to cut (it's very long and all one length) and all I needed was a trim. Very disappointed in this place. The 4 technicians ( 2 were with clients and 2 were just slouching in client chairs) looked me up and down like with disgust. I'd leave negative stars if I could.

Groomology is a very professional, clean and courteous Barber and Beauty shop. The environment is welcoming and gives me comfort that I am in a safe place. Would highly recommend to everyone to go check them out.

Edit: The owner lacks the baseline of customer service in a service industry. Very minimal qualified barbers. Truly only one good barber. Spoke to him after a terrible cut from his barber and he ignored my comments. Most of the people he employees are there for 2½months and out. Revolving door. It's a clean environment, but most barbers do a terrible job and expect top dollar. Gave the shop 3 chances, never going back. Don't waste your time. Choose another. +++++ I signed in at least once but often used the Booksy app with the barbers that were, at the time, employed at this business. Notice the deflection of constructive criticism. Just do better and you increase your clientele. Das it!

Driving threw chicago and my husband wanted a haircut, we seen this place on Google and they had really good reviews, stopped by placed looked clean , barber's in rotation with walk ins welcome. Places to sit and watch T.V. while waiting. Friendly barbers was a plus since we had our youngest with us. Definitely Recommend!! And when ever we are back in the area we will stop by again! Ps the young man did amazing on my husband hair!

My son had had a fantastic haircut experience. Don was skilled, attentive, and created the look I wanted. The salon had a pleasant atmosphere, and I left feeling satisfied. Highly recommend!"

This is where my son has gone for over a year now to be transformed from a Caveman to a Gentleman 😁. He gets the Cadillac Escalade treatment as we call it, after our favorite admired car' by receiving a 'fly haircut', 'hot towel to the scalp and beard areas treatment, and a nice shave. And some smell good oil and spray to his scalp. I almost don't recognize him afterwards. The Boy be lookin' Nice! Got his Swag back! Fire! Now I must say, all the Barbers here are very good and professional. And the place is 1st Class! And my son's goto Guy is Donx. Don is a Master at what he does as a Barber period. And cool as a Summer breeze. So now you know, Go gets your Do Tight and Right!

This barber shop gave me and my son a great experience. Its was our first time and we were pleasantly pleased with the cleanliness, professionalism and friendly staff. On top of all that Tyra snapped on his fade. We will definitely return!!

This is a great barber shop very professional and relaxed environment. All of the barbers are very welcoming. I got my hair cut by Jeno and he did an excellent job he also cut my sons hair and my son loved him. Great experience all around I couldn’t be happier. Thanks guys.

I love this barbershop thus far! You will find nothing but professionalism and GOOD VIBES here. It was my first time there today and Mr. Ian took good care of me. It was CLEAN and easy to find. Love the professional look of the shop. All the chairs are uniformly covered, etc. LOVE the posted barbershop rules! No profanity, etc. They have a good system here. Sign-in if you're a walk in, or make an appointment. And I love my cut! Friendly atmosphere for both men and women! I felt at ease here. Love to see our young, black professionals holding up a standard of excellence. Keep it up y'all!
