Greg is a friendly barber always takes care of me and my son’s hair at an affordable price. Gives you the feel of the old barber shops not in a bad way. If you are looking to get your haircut or a shave check out this small hidden shop in downtown Glenview you won’t be disappointed but make sure to call for an appointment, I forgot the first time and they still took care of my son.

I was visiting Glenview and needed a haircut. Googled and Greg’s was the first I saw. It was a great haircut but an even better conversation. Grateful for his skill and generosity. 100% recommended.

Nice old school atmosphere but haircuts are inconsistent. For $30 I didn’t think I’d get a Michigan Avenue styling but despite giving clear and accurate directions of how I’d like my haircut, the cutter (stylist would be total overkill) did an awful and inconsistent chop job. Now I have to wait until my hair grows back and evens out before going to a professional stylist. Great for kids’ cuts.

Excellent haircuts from Greg , very friendly. The place is very clean with reasonable prices. I’ve been going for as long as he’s owned the place. It used to be “ Bob’s “ barbershop .

I work close to this place and I can never get to my usual place because they close around the time I get home so I tried Greg's barbershop. I had a terrible experience, I wanted a trim just to get me by. The women that cut my hair looked so like she was about to fall asleep, she was barely gripping her scissors. Nothing she was doing looked like a normal haircut. My hair is uneven, too short on the sides of my face, there no shape or style. I'm furious, usually a haircut makes you feel better but not from here. I guess I'll see if a different place can fix it. There's no shape, my hair looks bad. On the back it looks like layers, I can see the scissor cuts going across. There's no way this is a good haircut and I would not feel safe coming back.

First time at Greg's Barber Shop today. It had been about 6 weeks from my last haircut, and Greg was able to call out every detail of my usual the moment I sat in his chair. Really happy with my first cut and I will definitely be coming back.

Kornel did an outstanding job! First-time I've ever been here, not knowing what to expect, simply say that I want my hair cut "very short" and he gives me exactly what I want for only $27. I've overpaid embarrassing amounts of $$$ in the past for cuts that weren't even this good. It's not worth it cheaping out or spending exorbitant amounts when you can get a solid cut at a place like this for a reasonable price. I will be moving to a place 20 minutes away in a couple months but plan on making the drive back here solely for this. 5 stars. P.S. If you're turning onto Harlem/Lehigh from Glenview Rd, be sure not to miss the right turn! The lot is immediately after the light.

I have been going here for 4 years now. Never had a bad haircut. I would highly recommend this barber shop to anyone. I won’t go anywhere else. I’ve had 5 haircuts here so far and have no complaints. They’re very gentle and cut your hair just the way you ask. I would recommend anyone within 15 miles to come here. Best haircuts I’ve ever had.

There is a reason the place has been in business for so long. Greg and his team do a great job. I have been going to random barbers until I found Greg few years ago and been a happy customer ever since. Go once and you will come back. Friendly atmosphere and great haircut!
