I’m disappointed with the haircut done. I came in today for a haircut. He seems like a good person, but it felt like he is still a beginner and doesn’t yet know how to deliver a clean, professional haircut. Afterward, I had to go to another barber, Kurtz, who said that my hair had been done very poorly and fixed it for free after hearing how much I had paid. I clearly overpaid for the service. I’m sorry, but I’m always honest with my opinion. I’m not happy with this experience and I will not be coming back. I do not recommend this place

I’ve honestly had the toughest time finding a barber I really liked, so when I found Lex it was a game-changer. You can tell right away that he genuinely loves what he does. He is attentive, listens to what look you are going for, and makes sure everything is right. He’ll go above and beyond to help you figure out the best haircut that fits you best, not just rush you through the chair. Hands down the best barber I’ve had- can’t recommend Lex enough!

Brandon always does an amazing job on my husband and our sons hair. He is always very patient with our 4 year old and does such a great job. His attention to detail is great!

Came in looking for a haircut. Was taken taken care of by axel. Service was amazing, very professional. Left me looking sharp. If you are in the area, and are looking for a haircut, and great service highly recommend axel as your barber. Thank you illyz barbershop, will be coming back.

Anthony is the best barber to ever cut my hair!!! In the past, going to the barber was always difficult for me. I didn't know anything about hairstyles and what would work best for me. Thankfully, Anthony went above and beyond to give me a haircut that I love! I also am getting many compliments from other folks! I tell them to go see Anthony! He is the best barber in town without a doubt. Book an appointment with him as soon as you can!!! You will be glad you did!!! Thank you Anthony!

I’ve been to many barbers, but Oscar truly stands out. He gave me a perfect high skin fade and took his time to make sure every detail was just right. You can tell he really cares about his craft and making sure the customer is happy. I highly recommend Oscar if you’re looking for a clean, professional cut from someone who takes pride in their work.

Brandon has been my barber for the past two years now, he always executes! 10/10 recommend!!! Illyz as a whole is a great barbershop that I will recommend to all people who wanna get fresh! They have two locations now and both are awesome! 🤙🏽

I received an amazing fade from Anthony and recommend him. He is very credible and also personable. Illy’z has always gave me a good experience and although this location is new to the area, it’s exactly what Elk Grove Village needed.

The spot is so nice! Love the aesthetics of the shop, the spaciousness, and the welcoming vibes. Just moved back to the Chicago land area and have tried five barbers before I got recommended here. You know how it is: hard to trust someone with your hair and find a solid barber who's going to get you right every time. Found my guy Jayrock! He is a solid guy, conversational if you want, and does a great job, he really took his time to get me right and will be my barber for the far future, for sure! I got a drop fade, blended perfectly, got my eyebrows shaped up, and my lining was crisp! Perfect C cup down to my beard, lines were smooth! Perfect cut I been looking for.

Always a great experience at Illyz. Brandon does amazing work with bleaching, dyeing/toning and cutting, always leaving Illys confident in myself and my cut after working with Brandon! The suite makes it feel VIP.
