Wonderfully friendly place, amazing hair cuts, and just an authentic feel of a community and care.

I have been going to Kari for about 15 years now if that says anything. She gives the best cuts in town and has watched me grow up. From one hairstyle to the next, she never disappoints and does an immaculate job. Eakers barbershop is like a step back in time as they are one of the only real barbershops around. Old school vibes with great service, I reccomend Eakers to all of my friends!

Love this traditional barber shop that is third generation and locally-owned. Kari is amazing!! I've been going to her for years and she's been cutting my children's hair since they were babies.

Come for the haircuts, stay for the conversation and excellent service. Eaker's is a 3rd generation family-owned and -run barbershop that pays homage to the past with straight razor and warm towel service without getting caught up in the past by also welcoming girls and ladies. Stop by for a cut, chat, put a 45 on, and forget what year it is. Top-notch service every time! Update: little has changed except haircuts are all by appointment on their website and they're not taking walk-ins. Overall, that's probably a net-positive thing!

I went to this barbershop for the first time, and my experience was absolutely fantastic. The barbers there were very friendly and made great conversations. They did a great job with my hair, and I will definitely be going back for future haircuts. The only complaint I have is that they only accept cash or checks. I try not to carry cash with me at all for convenience and security. However, this problem can easily be fixed with the investment of a Square Reader or any other credit card reader. Other than that minor inconvenience, everything went flawlessly.

Kaylin did a great job. The environment is good. The conversation is great. I got a great haircut and beard trim for my engagement photos and I will definitely be coming back. Highly recommend!

My husband and kiddos always go to Eaker's for their haircuts. Kari and Jamie do a wonderful job. My toddlers love and trust Kari - have never had a bad time in her chair! They keep a clean shop and a relaxed atmosphere. If you want a classic barber shop experience with some awesome ladies, this is the place for you!

Let's start with: Kari and Jamie give great haircuts. Add: Kari's grandfather opened the shop and it's still going strong. (She will cut your hair in a chair he bought.) Stir in that it's on Main Street in downtown Edwardsville, which can claim visits from lawyer Abe Lincoln and Route 66. Garnish with eclectic decor from decades of relationships. Save up your hair and give yourself this experience!

First time customer to this amazing establishment and "Wow" is the only way to put into words my experience! Friendly and professional staff that is very easy to talk to. They have given me the best haircut and 0-2 fade i have ever had. First time getting a straight razor shave and it was hands down the best shaving experience I've had. This will be the business I support and go to for all my grooming needs from here on out. 10 out of 10!!!

This was my first trip to visit Kari, but it will most certainly not be my last. I absolutely loved the experience, Kari was fast and friendly, and a master with the shears! My hair looks better than it has in years, and it's all thanks to Kari!
