I brought my 12-year-old son in for a haircut and had an extremely unpleasant experience. The barber in the first chair on the right as you enter was yelling at my son the entire time for moving, even though I calmly told my son to sit still and explained to the barber that he’s used to getting his hair cut at home. I never raised my voice or caused any trouble. After the cut, I was overcharged $40, and when I politely asked if he could do the side lining, he responded rudely, telling me I had “the nerve to complain” and then said, “Don’t come back here. I don’t do kids.” This was never mentioned before the haircut. There was no professionalism or basic respect, especially for a paying customer and a child. I would not recommend this place for families or anyone expecting decent customer service.

BT did an amazing job tapering and lining up my son hair. Every 2 weeks he gets him right! Very professional and nice as well!

This place is the epitome of a classic barbershop—plenty of laughs, good energy, and sharp cuts all around. BT is my go-to (He is on Booksy), but just watching the rest of the crew, it’s clear everyone in the shop knows their way around a pair of clippers.

Came for a 4:45 appointment at 4:40 and was told the guy BT the barber (Bryant) would be in from out back in a min and was going to cut another child hair first and would be with me afterwards. He didn’t begin to cut the other kid hair until 4:49 so I called another barber and was given a 5:00 appointment and my son was in the chair at 5:01 at barber academy in Hammond. Bad 1st impression!

My boys have been coming for a while now! They see Rob, he's very good and patient with my boys as well as interacts with them while recieving service! Shop is nice. Other barbers in shop as well!

My main man Martin is a complete expert in there he gives you a amazing cut. I'm 41 and that man literally brings me back to my early 30s. It's a great atmosphere as well if you go in expect a quality cut. For those who has kids straight to the back and ask for John he's getting those kids ready for adulthood the look like little gentleman when they leave.
