I would highly recommend Midwest barber academy. The staff if extremely skilled at what they do in the barber program and will make sure you leave highly confident and prepared for the barbering world. They take the time to make sure you know your craft. If you are also looking to take your career to the next level the instructor program is great too. Midwest is all around a great school to get your career started 10/10 amazing!

The best barber school in the Midwest area. Big on structure, sanitation, accountability, and commitment to teach each individual the proper way to cut hair. If you're looking to start your barber career this is the place to start.

Attending Midwest barber academy was one of the best decisions I’ve made. The teachers here are not only super skilled but also genuinely care about helping you grow and succeed. They take the time to teach you the right techniques, give great feedback, and always push you to do your best. I learned a lot — from the basics to advanced cutting and fading — and I left feeling confident and ready for the real world. Highly recommend this school to anyone serious about becoming a barber!

This was the first time I went to a Barber Academy. I was apprehensive at first, but I must say I've gotten one of the best haircuts I've ever had. The instructors schooled the students on what to do, and they took their time and made sure it was done right? Overall, it was a very positive experience.

When I first walked into Midwest Barber Academy, I knew right away that it was gonna be a good fit for me and not only that that was going to learn a lot. I end up learning a lot more than what I expected not only then I learned how to cut hair and become really good from learning from Vernon Jackson or Mr.J as we all call him, He taught me a lot more than just cutting hair. He taught me business, which I really do appreciate it because now I have a further understanding of barbering this was An amazing experience. Mr.J and Jackie really did the thing Mr.J teaching How to cut hair on the cutting floor and Jack teaching us in the classroom. I’m happy I chose Midwest two really good instructors and just a good atmosphere. I highly recommend going here if you were looking forward and becoming a Barber.

I cannot speak highly enough of my experience as a former student at Midwest Barber Academy! The instructors were very knowledgeable and dedicated to preparing us students thoroughly for the state exam. Not only did they equip me with the technical skills necessary to succeed in the shop, but they also fostered a supportive learning environment that encouraged my growth and confidence. From day one, you're embraced by genuine good vibes and a sense of camaraderie among the students, encouraged by the staff. Thanks to their guidance, I felt fully prepared when taking the state exam! I highly recommend MBA to anyone aspiring to enter the barbering profession. Best school in Illinois 🏆

Midwest Barber Academy is a great school. I recently graduated from the school and it was the best decision I’ve ever made. The school itself is very neat, organized and very professional. I came in not knowing anything about cutting hair and next thing you know I was offered a job before graduating. The school prepares you by giving you real clients and hands on work, and it’s all being supervised by the instructors. The instructors do a great job in teaching you the fundamentals and book work of this career. The students are also very supportive and friendly. I highly recommend attending this school if you’re looking to learn.
