I had recently driven by the mall with Hobby Lobby in Aurora, IL and noticed that a new barbershop had opened up. It’s called Top Gun. So I decided to give it a try, I’ve been buzz cutting my own hair for years as there’s not too much up there anymore at the old age of 52! (nothing like my nostalgic Google or YouTube thumbnail picture from when I was 17 years old) So I had not been to a barber in many many years. Upon entering the place is very nice and there are really comfortable couches. Mofade was my stylist and he asked me a number of questions and came up with haircut that looks great on me! I seriously went in not knowing what to expect after not seeing a barber for years and I was really happy with the results. I will be going back again!

Brought our son in to finally get a haircut Saturday after growing it out for a year. The barber (didn’t catch his name) did a phenomenal job. Our Son brought in a picture and the barber executed it perfectly. It has been hard to find someone who actually makes your hair look like the picture. Was super precise and patient with our son! Will def be bringing him back. He walked out with a huge smile on his face!

I wanted to say this was the best barbershop i ever been to. The atmosphere is amazing and the workers are very polite. Doni who works there is the best barber that works there. I had trouble finding a good barber but i think i just found the one. Thank you doni for making me look handsome.

I came in with a reference photo of the fade I wanted, which the barber glanced at briefly before saying “okay.” I clearly stated that I did not want anything taken off the top since I’m growing it out, but that instruction wasn’t followed and the top was cut anyway. I was facing away from the mirror the entire time, so I couldn’t see what was happening until it was too late. The fade itself was poorly executed, and despite this shop listing fades as a specialty, it was clear the barber lacked familiarity with basic terminology. When I asked for a low taper fade with a half guard, I was met with a confused look. If you’re looking for a very simple, no-frills haircut, this place may be fine—though it’s a bit overpriced for what you get. But if you want a properly styled haircut from a barber who understands fade techniques, I’d recommend looking elsewhere.

Top Gun Barbershop is top-notch all around. The shop is always clean, well-organized, and the staff is welcoming and professional. Khairullah and Adam are excellent barbers. They’re skilled, detail-oriented, consistently on point, and take the time to make sure your haircut and beard are exactly how you want them. If you’re looking for a clean shop, professional service, and barbers who actually care about quality, Top Gun Barbershop is the place. Highly recommend.

Top Gun Barbershop definitely lives up to the name. I saw Adam, and his passion for the craft is obvious from the first cut. He didn’t rush; he took the time and effort to ensure every detail was perfect. He truly helped me transition into the best version of myself. If you want a barber who treats hair like an art form, ask for Adam.

Barber MoFade is absolutely top-notch! He did an incredible job on my haircut clean fade, sharp lines, and great attention to detail. Super professional and friendly. Easily one of the best barbers I’ve been to. Highly recommend!

I really enjoyed the service at this barbershop! The barber listened carefully to my needs, recommended the best option, and gave me the perfect haircut. The atmosphere is cozy, everything is clean, and the staff is polite. I can tell they're very professional. I'll recommend them to my friends!

Both of my boys had their haircuts here, and Master Ali and Master Hayrulla did a wonderful job! The cuts were perfect, and I really appreciate that Master Hayrulla has great experience working with special needs kids—he was so patient and understanding. Highly recommend!

Excellent barbershop! The atmosphere is welcoming and professional, and the barbers really take their time to make sure you leave looking your best. My haircut was clean and precise, and the fade was perfect. They pay attention to detail and also make sure you feel comfortable throughout. Definitely my new go-to spot!
