I would like to give a huge shout-out and thank you to Scales Barber Academy on Macon Road in McDonough, Georgia. They recently ran a special through the end of December offering free haircuts for anyone in need, and that truly speaks volumes about their heart and commitment to the community. I brought all four of my boys, and they did an amazing job on each haircut. The barbers were professional, patient, and took their time to make sure each child left looking great and feeling confident. I am very grateful for their time, generosity, and dedication—not only to their craft but to giving back. I will definitely be referring others to Scales Barber Academy, and I’ll absolutely be bringing my kids back for future haircuts. Thank you all so much for what you do and for showing such kindness and support to families in the community. It truly means a lot!

So thankful for Harvey and Scales Barber Academy! My son is 2, & he’s never had a professional haircut until today. I’m so happy with our experience. Harvey was so sweet to us, took us as a walk-in, and was very gentle with my son. Most of all, my son’s hair looks PERFECT now! 🥰 Harvey’s shop does free cuts for children for a short period during the holiday season each year, today was the cut-off day and I’m so thankful I made it there! If you have a chance to support his business or stop by for a service, I highly recommend it. 10/10 experience and I will be back! 🩵

The moment my son and I walked thru the door we were greeted with a warm welcoming. The instructors were kind and thorough walking me thru the sign in steps and Keante was assigned to cut my sons hair. Keante was patient and welcoming usually my son is antsy when he get haircuts but yesterday he was calm and all smiles thru the process and it was nice to witness. Highly recommend this academy!!!!

Everyone was so nice with my adult special needs autistic son. My son took sometimes to sit while he was constantly walking around because of curiosity of things he saw that he wanted to touch. But everyone understood him and made him feel comfortable and at home. Thank you guys, you all have shown him kindness for his birthday week. Thank you guys

I enjoy coming to this barber school for services. They are very friendly and professional and do an outstanding job with my haircut. Management and all the students are always willing to assist and provide first-rate customer service to everyone that comes into the school with a friendly hospitable attitude. One of the students , Mr. McDowell has special talents and is absolutely friendly, respectful and kind all the time.
