Great traditional barber shop. Everyone is friendly and it's a fun atmosphere. Cam is friendly, timely and remembers his customers preferences. Highly recommend.

My girl said I looked like a new man which turned into her falling in love with me all over again. Gotta go back and get tuned up bc I'm starting to look shabby again and she isn't as flirty with me now.

First time in. Enjoyed conversation with Cam learning about the shop and conversation in general on top of that a great haircut as well. See you next time I’m in town.

Glad I found this hidden gem (I somehow missed it for a few years. Found it when I did a search when other Decatur haircut places started getting too expensive.) No attitude, laid-back, good haircut place. And kind of an interesting decor. Just a bunch of guys giving good haircuts and shaves. Cash only

Easily the best barbershop in the Atlanta area, especially the quality level for the price. If you live in Atlanta and you’re able to get over to Decatur, it’s absolutely worth the trip. Cam is fantastic but reallt can’t go wrong with any of these guys

I've been to most all top-rated barbershops in the ATL area, and this one is pretty solid, but I didn't have a great experience. Calling out my biases: my one personal care luxury I will be a little unreasonable or more flexible on is getting my hair cut because it's one of my favorite things. So price is a factor, but also I'm big on the quality of service. The other thing I'll mention (because it is relevant to hair types) is that I'm not sure what my actual ethnicity is. My race is in the eye of the beholder, and my hair can be less-straightforward to cut. The customer service here could be a lot better. My first time here, I made an appointment, and basically it did not matter. I tend to value making an appointment and sticking to the time, but I understand that barbershops run over and it's hard for them to do it, but they seemed also totally unaware that I had made one. As for the actual quality of the service, the prices are extremely affordable for what you get. The vibes are great, everyone is pretty nice, but I didn't feel I really got a great quality haircut + beard trim + shave. This was an average experience at a medium price. It felt rushed and sporadic, and the end result was kind of lopsided, and if I have to go home and un-lopside it, or re-trim the beard, that's automatically not going to be a return visit for me most times. In 2024/2025, you have to be able to do at least a simple, consistent fade on coarser hair. Perhaps the staff I got was having an off day, but I really hate having to play the game of "booking the right guy". My repeat visit was even more rushed, and I didn't feel comfortable, so I paid/tipped left and let it go. If you enjoy the atmosphere of going to a real barbershop, this will do it. But if you enjoy the experience and service, I would spend a little more and go elsewhere for some folks who will take more time and care.

FINALLY! I’ve found a proper barbershop. Even before I walked in, I could tell I was headed to the right place—just from the haircuts I saw walking out. The moment I stepped inside, the vibe and aesthetic confirmed it. Ramblers has that perfect blend of style and comfort—cool without trying too hard. It feels intentional, welcoming, and real. This is exactly what a barbershop should be, and I say that as someone who’s worked in a few and visited many. I had an appointment with Jack, who was attentive, professional, and easy to talk to. The conversation flowed, and when he handed me the mirror, I was genuinely impressed. My hair had grown out past my ears, so he had his work cut out for him—but the result was spot on. The entire experience exceeded expectations. I’m lucky to live nearby, but honestly, I’d make the drive either way.

Great shop with solid prices and Barbers who know their craft. Came in today for the first time and Jack did a great job on my cut (a very simple 3 on the sides and cut the top with scissors type cut). Will definitely be back, easy location to access, and booking is easy and you don't have to do it a month in advance. 5 Stars for Ramblers.

What a treasure this place is. My son and I get our haircuts here on the regular. The shop is welcoming and clean. Chuck is our barber and we couldn’t be happier. He’s great with my kid and there’s always a lollipop at the end for my son. Couldn’t recommend higher.

Lady approved barber shop ~ I'm always happy with the consistent results & styling of my boyfriend's hair when he gets a clean cut here. Things you should know: I. LOCATION In a small plaza attached to Marco's Pizza. There's a FREE private parking lot on the left side of the building (if you're looking from N McDonough St). It's at Downtown Decatur (which is an awesome area) so sometimes we walk around after or I chill while he gets a cut. II. SERVICE Great ~ they're good at what they do & you can tell they enjoy it too. Sets a positive tone for the experience itself. Ask for Ricky. Sometimes my boyfriend will drive from my place (40 minutes away) just for his skills. III. QUALITY We're both happy with the results EVERY time. You know those barbers that just can't get the vision right? Well, that doesn't happen here. Ricky is great with listening to feedback & then applying it. IV. CAPACITY They take appointments and walk-ins.
