Awesome job by MJ (or JM, can’t remember) today! It was our kiddos first hair cut and he did such a great job. Cut off all the dry/dreaded and nasty hair and left us with a great cut. Appreciate his time and we’ll plan to be back!

Had to make sure I took the time to leave a review, shoutout to the owner and everyone that works here! This is a well ran establishment. It's professional, clean, warm, & friendly. The environment reminds you of a true barbershop. I had my hair cut by Steady and he did a phenomenal job. He took his time and delivered an exceptional haircut! I'll definitely be back and will refer anyone I know to this location!

I've been going to Urban Blades for years now since I moved from Florida, and now even bringing my son. If you want an excellent cut and professional treatment, along with a friendly atmosphere, then I strongly recommend going to Urban Blades. My barber Derrick is always available the ultimate professional, and always with good conversation. It's like stepping in and seeing family. Will never go anywhere else.

Derek is an amazing talented barber. Been coming to him since my son was 2 and he is now 10. Never disappoints and definitely take last minute appointments. Come visit the shop and get cut the right way!!!!

This was my first time taking my son to get a haircut, since moving to the area. I am extremely happy for choosing that barber shop, they were extremely professional, clean and my son’s haircut looks amazing. I also dropped my wallet in the shop without realizing it, they find my wallet and keep it for me until I can to pick it up! I’m extremely happy with the results, service and honesty. I will definitely come back, the next time. My son’s barber Jermaine XL Green did a great job.

Debo has been cutting my son hair for 3 years+ and has always done a amazing job. He is so friendly and very professional. My son always love going to see him and loves his hair cuts at the end. He always greets you with a friendly smile and great conversations inviting you to whatever the barbershop is having for the kids. You need anything done ask for debo he will not disappoint you

I give this place 5 outta 5. They are so patient with my youngest son and always super friendly. There's only one issue I have. One barber always does to much. I feel like I'm paying for my sons to cut I'm going allow them to get cut by whom they are comfortable with. One barber be like oh he cutting your son to long, next time hit me up. If ya'll a team nobody in the shop should be doing that. Or making me feel like I have to deal with him only. My sons will continue to come get cuts and I will reject the barber I'm speaking about. The environment is great besides that. My boys always come out looking fresh support black own businesses always.

I absolutely love Shawn doing mine, my son’s, my niece and my nephew’s hair she’s the best. But today I experienced total disrespect from Derrick as he calls himself the manager. There’s a better way to handle business when you are management. If there’s a problem with one of your employees you talk to them away from their clients/customers and have a one on one with them and then you let them address their clients/customers. You don’t start yelling and cursing at them in front of customers and their children. It’s sad to say but this black owned business just lost my family’s business all because of Derrick the so called manager with his disrespectful attitude. Instead of allowing my stylist to talk to her clients about what he was saying he just started to talk to me in a nasty way that I didn’t deserve as a client of someone that works in the shop. I this reaches the owner. This took place today 8/7/2025 around 3:55pm-405pm

I am truly sorry this happened. You and Derrick have always had a playful Alabama VS Georgia rivalry going on, but that's not an excuse for a manager to be disrespectful to anyone. You know me, the shop and you know that we love you like crazy. Losing that over this isn't what Urban Bladez is built on. I apologize to you for this incident and we should talk and make this right.

Great, friendly experience with Eric. Very professional and engaging with my daughter and her undercut and she loves it! The whole atmosphere of the shop felt like family and very comfortable. Ask for Eric when you go! EDIT: We went back and had color done by Ms. Shawn. My daughter loves it and it turned out awesome <3 Thank you guys for correcting her DIY undercut!
