The salon is nice and the atmosphere relaxing, The stylist was late so I left, no call to inform me, stylist now charge clients for being late, I truly was looking forward to the service since I was a new client, but oh well!

I typically don’t write reviews, but this one is well deserved and earned. Within just five hours of leaving the salon ... I received so many compliments, including while sitting in the KFC drive-through! That alone should tell you how great the work was. My stylist is talented, professional, and truly pays attention to detail. She listened to what I wanted, offered suggestions, and delivered a final look that made me feel confident and oh so polished. The experience was relaxing, stress-free, and enjoyable from start to finish. I always look forward to my appointments. If you're looking for a stylist who truly knows what they’re doing and takes pride in their craft, I highly recommend my stylist. Nicole is her name, but I call her "Nicole with the magic hands." They gave me and my mother the best sew-in and knotless braids ever. Everyone here is so kind, professional, and experts with how they style hair. They charge a fair price and are fast with how they style your hair. We drive all the way from Florida to come here and it is worth it every-time. Please support their business and these amazing people!

Let me just say that Cristina is a God send! Her talent shows in everything she does and she truly cares about the client experience. Her team is very kind and professional. Lovely atmosphere and pricing is very fair for the amazing service received. I will definitely return and I love that I can easily book on Fresha!

There are some good stylists in the salon. However, there is one ,in particular, that it appears is lacking significantly. I had the pleasure of being in the salon for about four hours and was able to watch the work of all the stylists on multiple clients. This one stylist in particular raked through my daughters hair completely dry to detangle. This caused a significant amount of breakage, but by the time I noticed, too much was on the floor. The style was for medium natural hair box, braids, and the size of the parts equated with probably about an extra large. This person stated that they are not a "Braider however they braid." If they don't do the particular style, then they should just say they don't do it however, during previous conversations, they indicated that they do natural hair box braids with no added hair; which was the style. I had the pleasure of watching about 2 to 3 of this particular stylist's clients and none of them looked good at all in terms of Hair. Many walked out with just limp hair and multiple split ends. There were, to the contrary, two other stylists who were present and produced very good hairstyles on their clients. It seems that you have to take the good with the bad sometimes. I'm going to refrain from naming names however I am pretty sure upon entering the salon, if you wait for five minutes, you will know the person in question who is lacking.

My 1st appointment with Nicole at Family Hair was amazing. The place was clean and the music was easy. Nicole was awesome from the shampoo to the cut and style. Most important we started on time with no distractions. I highly recommend.

Someone referred me to this place after searching styleseat for two days. I'm so glad I found it. I came in with a disaster on my head and Yolanda was amazing! She was patient and helped me fix the disaster. In fact she was there with me til almost 11 pm making sure it was perfect. And it was perfect it was. My hair looked fabulous. Yolanda was so easy to talk to and the owner was too. I immediately felt comfortable there. I have found my new hair place and stylist. My full sew in looks amazing!! I'm so glad I was referred to this place! I highly recommend it!
