I have been looking for a go to barber shop in Atlanta and it has been hard to find. Either the barber is professional and he’s not good, or he’s good and unprofessional. Vintage is professional and the cut is always next level. Every time my barber cuts my hair people stop me to ask who cut my hair. My barber is Rob so I call it the Rob effect. If you need a good barber go see Rob, super talented and always “on time”.

This is a cornerstone of culture. A place to get right, a place to talk/hear about Atlanta and life; after all, it's a Barber Shop. Shout out to my long lost brother and Barber, Herb. It's literally been about 27 years since I received my first haircut from him when I transitioned down from New York, at a shop near Five Points (it's no longer in business); his professionalism, skill, and camaraderie caused me to Google search him out. Lo and behold he actually was searchable and I discovered he was the new, proud proprietor of Vintage The Barber Shop. After finding time to get a cut, I went to the shop yesterday; got a baldie, beard service with trimming. Everything is all good. My guy still got it! I also noticed that the Barber besides him also has skill. While there are other barber shops to go to, this one has history, it has great ownership, and skilled barbers who are friendly and ready to get you right. Congratulations Herb, I'm glad we caught up and I'll see you next time.

got a hair cut at this barber shop ended up with half my hair shorter than the other side of my hair. Go here if you want a wonky ahh cut

I have been going to Vintage Barbershop for years with no complaints. This is thanks to the staff, but specifically my barber Rob. I must say, he is an exceptional barber who takes his work seriously and delivers impeccable haircuts. From start to finish, Rob's professionalism and attention to detail were evident. He took the time to understand my preferences and provided great recommendations that made my haircut even better than I had envisioned. The atmosphere at Vintage Barbershop was top-notch, with vintage decor that added to the overall experience. I felt right at home as soon as I walked in, and the friendly staff made me feel welcomed. The shop was clean, well-organized, and had all the amenities one could ask for, including a cold beverage and snacks to enjoy during the haircut or while you wait. Rob's skills were impressive, and he clearly knows his craft. He was efficient, yet thorough, and took the time to make sure everything was perfect. I left the shop with a great haircut, feeling confident and satisfied. I would highly recommend Vintage Barbershop and especially Rob to anyone looking for a professional and skilled barber. I flew in from Texas to Atlanta and was able to conveniently schedule and pay for my haircut appointment online. My barber Herbert was on time and proceeded to give me one of the best haircuts I’ve ever had. We had professional and intellectual conversation which added to the excellent experience and the cool vintage barbershop vibe. I will no doubt get my haircut by Herbert again next time I’m in Atlanta!

So i moved to Atlanta recently and had to find a new barber shop. Finding a new barber that i trust is always difficult for me... but man i got lucky! Got one of the best (if not the best!) cut i ever got. Herb is a world class barber, super friendly, overall great experience... thank you and see you soon!

After 2 years of his service, Herb has consistently been great with attention to detail while cutting my hair. He’s constantly booked for a reason and so are the other barbers. Highly recommended for the experience. Thanks guys

No better barbers in the STATE!!! Herb has been my barber for 15 years, but u can't go wrong with ANY of the barbers at Vintage! Never seen such high quality cuts in one shop! And the atmosphere is great!

Needed a cut but my usual place is kinda too popular, doesn't take reservations, and their waitlist was super long (you might know what shop I'm describing...). Looked up barbershops around my workplace in downtown and I found Vintage Hair Gallery, decided to give em a try. I'm glad I did! They accept walk ins and I was able to get a seat when I stopped by during my lunch break. Clarence cut my hair and did a super job after I showed him pictures from my previous cut that I liked and wanted to keep. Real gentle with the clippers too, no buzzing/scratching my skin at any point. Charged $20 for a cut, which I think is super fair and comparable to the other place I mentioned. I'll definitely come back again.
