Been dealing with Michaels firm for a while due to the lengthy process of Fulton county and all I can say is thank you to everyone there from Donna who is sadly no longer there but was terrific to Lamar and Brandon along with the receptionist. All are very professional and stand on business. My case wasn't much never even got to meet any of them in person but I would definitely use this firm again if I ever had too. Would also recommend this firm to anyone who needs dedicated, professional and knowledgeable support within the law. Thank you all!

I retained council with Michael D. Barber & associates last minute, literally the day before my final court hearing for custody. I was very impressed in how with just a day to prepare ms. Shelton and her team took all my evidence and knew the case like they had been on the case the whole entire time. Ms Shelton is a dog in court and fought for me as if I was family, no lie. My case had been pending for over three years following an arrest in January 2023 for misdemeanor Battery-Family Violence. Attorneys Brandon and Michael were able to negotiate a plea deal under the First Offender Act. Thanks to their work, I received 12 months of probation, family violence intervention classes, and continued mental health treatment, with no community service, jail time, or fines. Once I complete my probation, the charges will be dismissed and removed from my record. Brandon and Michael are extremely knowledgeable, and my case manager, Lamar, was very helpful and responsive to all of my questions. Although the court process lasted over three years, Michael and Brandon helped me navigate it successfully. I highly recommend their services.

First, I’ll start off by saying I was referred to this law firm for my wife’s traffic violation by a reputable source. Secondly, the experience and communication was not the best. We did 89% if not more of the communication for any updates and offers on my wife’s case. We were constantly told, “ If we have any updates, we will let you know.” “Let me reach out to your attorney and I’ll get back to you before noon.” I can honestly say we were both underwhelmed with this process and journey of her case. We had no idea who her attorney was until literally the day before her court date. That’s not an exaggeration. We followed up the day before court to confirm her appearance was needed and asked of any offers. We’d been asking for offers for quite some time so we could know how to move forward and be prepared. We received the offer the day before court and we asked our appropriate questions after reviewing. The day of court, the attorney arrived after 10am after the court started. Which we were reassured that it was okay and the judge knew not to call the case until the attorney was present. Observing all other attorneys with their clients, they all had ONE thing in common, RAPPORT. My wife did not have that with her attorney and it showed. Also, after we got her terms and conditions, it was clear the attorney did not know fully what her terms were to fulfill her probation. We confirmed with all officials to have a clear and complete understanding of what to expect for her. I’d also like to add that we never met with the attorney and from the reviews it appears most clients met with their attorney. We were also told by our attorney he’d see what he could do to sweeten the deal and while we appreciate whatever that meant, nothing felt as if he fought for her truly for her case. I had high hopes and must say at least we had an attorney to get through this challenging time for my wife. Please use your own discretion when seeking an attorney. I like most use reviews and word of mouth and in this case we were not completely satisfied. However, we thank attorney Rosenbloom, Lamar, and whomever else we came into contact with at their firm for their time.

When I say I'm over joyed and pleased with my results. My very first case and Mr. Michael and his staff made it easy. He fought for me and my family. Case Dismissed ! Money well worth every penny. He showed up and made it happen. Lord I prayed and he sent an angel, Mr. Michael Barber Jr. 100/100 i recommend! Y'all can see I gave the hardest biggest smile.
