I came in for a routine haircut and was threatened by an employee. One barber was loudly ranting about superficial topics and putting people in their place, like how ugly people and nerds should know that they below whatever standards he set for himself. I chuckled at how ridiculous it sounded, to which he confronted me, walking up behind me, pointing at me in the mirror, and saying if I had something to say, I should say it to his face. When I said I was just there for a haircut, he responded that I “better be,” or he’d punch me or worse. From that moment on, he hovered around me, circling and staring while I was stuck in the chair. It was intimidating, and I felt on edge the rest of the time. The staff seemed uncomfortable, but also oddly used to it, which is even more concerning. No one should feel threatened while getting a haircut. Unless this employee is removed, I won’t be returning. The issue isn’t just one person, it’s a shop that allows this behavior. If you plan to bring a child for a haircut, be cautious of the topic they might see or hear if this barber is around.

My experience at On Point Barbershop was extremely disappointing. When I told the barber that the haircut was not what I wanted, instead of listening, he became upset and said I didn’t understand. When I asked him to just finish and move on, he became aggressive. He told me that if we were in Latin America, he would fight me, and then invited me to go somewhere without cameras. This is completely unacceptable and unprofessional. Customers go to a barbershop to feel comfortable, not threatened. I do not recommend this place at all.

Ryan was on point on time and never misses. I’ve been getting my hair cut with him for years and he’s never done me wrong. He’s attentive, talkative, and give you exactly what you ask for. This place is awesome!! Kevin is the best!! This has been my go to spot for the last 6 months and I’m finally leaving a review. Always busy, but they give personalized attention to every customer. Kevin is my guy, highly recommend, but I’ve noticed all of the barbers in this shop seem to be highly skilled. If you’re in the area, and need a high quality cut, you won’t find better than On Point!!
