Yant is an Excellent barber .. I just move to Pembroke Pines and I find this barbershop next to my building. I have been going with Yant for over a year, he is always professional and attending to detail.. I definitely recommend him.

I'm leaving a very honest 1-star review, not because of poor service or a bad experience, but because of the pricing structure and overall business model. This barbershop actually hired my barber from another shop (Yanf). He is hands down the best barber I've ever had, which is the only reason I followed him here. The staff and service themselves are not the issue at all. What was shocking from the start was the pricing. A fade and beard trim costing $70+ is already extremely high. Recently, they introduced a "membership" that is advertised as a way to save money, but in reality it feels like more money upfront for very minimal savings. The membership is $55 per month. Without the membership, a fade and beard trim is $81; with the membership, it's $73. That difference does not justify a monthly subscription unless you are somehow getting multiple haircuts monthly like 7+ before saving kick in. There is no real financial benefit for the average customer. I want to be clear that this is not a complaint about the barbers or the service, they do a great job. This review is about what feels like a money-grab pricing model that puts unnecessary pressure on loyal customers. I'd like to see a membership that actually provides meaningful savings, because in its current form, it just doesn't.

I came in for a simple haircut, but the barber did a very bad job. It looks like I’m almost bald, and he was clearly in a rush. If you open a shop and invest a lot of money, you need to properly train your barbers or hire experienced ones. I will never come back to this place.

The location is great, and the shop has a very cool vibe and feel. The service itself and the conversation with the barber were genuinely good. This was my first time here, and on that level, the experience started off positive. Unfortunately, I left disappointed. I came in for a simple beard trim—something I’ve had done countless times at barbershops all over the U.S. I specifically asked for a clean-up around the ears and the back of the neck. That’s it. I’ve paid anywhere from $20 to $50 for this exact service before, so I had a clear expectation going in. Before we were finished, the barber asked if I wanted my nose waxed. I mentioned I had never done it before, and he proceeded with it. What was not made clear was that each part of the service would be charged separately. Because a straight razor was used, the beard trim was labeled a “royal shave,” the lineup was a separate charge, and the nose wax was another separate charge. When everything was done and pleasantries exchanged, the total came out to $103. I’m not against spending money for quality, but this felt off—especially as a first-time client. Being new, I would have expected clear communication about pricing before services were added. I was very clear about what I was looking for, and I never imagined the total would even approach $80, let alone $103. I paid, walked away, and unfortunately won’t be returning. Transparency upfront would have made a big difference.

I am extremely disappointed with this barbershop. My husband went in for a simple haircut and came out looking like someone ran a lawn mower over his head. The cut is completely uneven, choppy, and nothing like what he asked for. This is absolutely unacceptable—especially considering the prices they charge. For what they cost, you expect professionalism and skill, not this kind of result. We will definitely not be coming back, and I don’t recommend this place to anyone looking for a quality haircut.

Made an appointment with Albert who went above and beyond on my first visit. He listened to what I wanted and then gave his recommendations. Very happy with the results. Albert was very professional and skillful in his craft which made want to visit again.

The atmosphere at The Spot is very welcoming and the staff is super friendly. I’ve been going to Manuel for over a year and he’s easily one of the best barbers I’ve ever had. Always pays close attention to detail and makes sure everything’s perfect before I leave. Plus, he’s just a genuinely good guy. The manager was very nice and welcomed me to the shop and quickly offered me a drink. The whole shop has an amazing, relaxing vibe. Great experience from start to finish!

After living in New York for over 10 years I decided to move back to Florida, I had the best barber in New York, a Japanese guy with an insane attention to detail, to be honest I never thought I would find someone equally as good down here until I found Albert. I am very picky and have to say Albert is simply great! He really knows what he is doing. Get the executive package, you won't regret it.
