Edited after 7 months. I give it a one because the barbers did not greet or acknowledge me when I came in; I sat 30 min waiting for someone to offer me service. Some barbers sat while on their phones and would immediately service several people who after me so I left. This is the 2nd time this has happened to me here. The last time I waited about an hour for a barber to ask me who I’m waiting for and I told him I just needed a trim from anyone available. If you do walk ins and appointments, it’s good business to speak to people coming in so you can distinguish what type of customer you have along with their needs.

I sat and waited patiently, quietly, and respectfully — even prepared to tip generously — simply for a regular haircut. Instead, I watched walk-ins get taken ahead of me with no explanation, until the shop hit closing time and I was dismissed without a word. I say this not out of anger, but as someone who values professionalism — and who also has the platform and legal backing to speak up when fairness is ignored. If you can’t treat all paying customers with basic respect, especially those who wait without causing any disruption, then maybe this isn’t the right kind of shop for everyone. To the barbers: A little communication goes a long way. That cut could’ve been quick, easy money. Instead, it became a public example.

Ive been coming here for over a year and have always got some amazing cuts, but what puts them over the top is what they do for my son, my son is on the autistic spectrum and the owner carlos and his staff go above and beyond to make stress free. Whether you need a haircut for yourself or if you are looking for a barber for your child please look no further, they can do any style you need old school or modern ( my fsther also comes here for haircuts) please come on in. They do walk ins or you can book appointments through the booksy app.

I have used the service of Custom Styles Barbershop for myself and my son. The staff is very welcoming, family oriented and easy to book online. Sharp haircuts from very experienced barbers. Also, located in a great location in Pembroke Pines close to Miramar, Hollywood, Davie and Miami Gardens.
