Willy Is the Real Deal Willy at New Family Barber Shop is arguably the best barber I’ve ever had. I’ve had four haircuts with him so far, and every single one has been on point. He’s incredibly consistent, pays attention to detail, and even managed to fix a bad cut I got elsewhere. The shop has a real family vibe — welcoming, no ego, just solid service. I also think it’s one of the only shops in town open on Sundays, which is a huge plus. Honestly, Willy’s cuts are better than a lot of the so-called high-end barber shops, and his prices are about half the cost. So do the right thing — tip him well, because he’s more than worth it. I definitely recommend.

Haircut was pretty good and the place is very clean but they have to update prices on their website. Yesterday I'd read that the price for a simple haircut was $15, just to be informed at checkout that the actual price was $25. The same dude that cut my hair did my checkout and told me the website hadn't been updated for a very long time, but that's no fair excuse. I tipped him $5, he didn't give me a receipt. Could it be that I was actually charged $15 haircut + $10 tip?

I've been looking for a good barber for a couple years now and finally I found one 🙌, when you can sit in the chair with your eyes closed and the barber is done, it's PERFECT AS ALWAYS, that's the barber you stick to. Thanks Barber Mike.

If you have a beard don't go here. They will miss up in a heart beat. Everyone will know they mess up because they will talk about it in Spanish. I'm sorry to say if , willie the owner was there this would of never happen . 4 years of growing my beard down the drain. Will never go back . Lost a customer for life...

Terrible job. Went for simple beard trim and only get a couple inches taken off.( long hair down back past shoulders) language barrier and wasn't given any choice to which barber or if they even had experience with long hair. More than 6 inches of my hair was cut and not even layered just cut straight across my neck like a child did it with a bowl and then charged $35 total rip off they need to go back to barber school

Sorry for your experience,,this is not how we operate! If you had a language barrier with anyone there , did you ask to speak to a manager or an owner or someone that could help you and express your wishes , and if it could be accomplished to what you were looking for, These are all professional guys who know how to cut hair! Sorry you had a bad experience, it’s definitely not the norm! Sometimes a little time and patience goes a long way !

I lived in south Florida for over 20 years. Always cut my hair in Miami. 6 years ago I moved to Wilton Manors, since I met Willy 5 years ago there is no other place in Wilton Manors or Oakland Park as good as he is. I highly recommend New Family Barber Shop to all my friends & family. Congratulations for the new updated saloon!

Haven't had to go to a barber shop since I can remember. Since my girlfriend left, I didn't have anyone to trim me up anymore... Then I found Family Barber Shop in Oakland Park. I had the best experience ever. I walked in and was greeted by Karen, who took me immediately, did a fantastic job! Very quick and professional 👌.. Her and the rest of the crew know what they are doing.... Laid back atmosphere and very friendly. Thanks again Karen..... See you all soon.... Karl
